Udon Noodles
Udon noodles are incredibly versatile, making them perfect for any dish. Whether you're making a flavorful soup or a savory stir fry, these fresh noodles will be the perfect base and are simple and quick to prepare.
Ingredients
¾ cup Bread flour
¾ cup Cake flour
¾ cup lukewarm water
2 tsp salt
Preparation
- Mix salt with lukewarm water until dissolved.
- Mix bread flour, cake flour and salted lukewarm water into the Panasonic Bread Maker. Select menu 19 “Bread Kneading”, then press “Start.”
- When kneading cycle is complete, remove from bread machine, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for one hour.
- Dust your workstation with cake flour and roll dough to approx. 1/8 of an inch thick, then cut into noodle strips depending on your length preference.
- Boil for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
