Terms & ConditionsWhat is the LUMIX Loaner program?
The LUMIX Loaner program gives potential customers a hands-on opportunity to try our cameras before making an informed purchase. It is not intended to supplement equipment for paid or commercial work, or for use without genuine purchase intent. LUMIX may refuse orders, deny claims, or disqualify participants if provided information is inadequate or if the program is used outside its intended purpose.
Are there limits on the number of items I can try?
Yes. Each customer may borrow one promotional product for up to 14-days, with a maximum of 4 items in any 6-month period. The 14-day loan period starts from the date on your order confirmation email and includes shipping time. Loan kits must be returned by the due date.
Do I have to live in United States to participate?
Yes. The program is open to U.S. residents age 18+ in the 48 contiguous states and Washington D.C. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam are not eligible.
How do I place an order?
Select your preferred Loan Kit(s) on our website, add it to your cart, and check out. Expedited shipping is available at your own cost.
What do I get with the equipment?
Each loan kit’s web page lists everything that is included. Memory cards are not provided.
I’m interested in equipment that’s out of stock. What should I do?
If an item is listed on our website but unavailable, it means it’s currently on loan. Please check back often, as most items are restocked within a couple of weeks.
When will the equipment be delivered?
Orders are delivered nationwide by courier within 3–7 business days of your confirmation email. You’ll receive a shipping notification once your order is on its way.
Do you organize delivery and collection?
Yes, we will cover the cost of weekday delivery and collection (excluding holidays) You’ll need to be available to receive the equipment, and when your loan ends, use the prepaid FedEx shipping label we email you to drop the Loan Kit(s) at your nearest FedEx location. Full details are in the Terms & Conditions and will also be sent in your confirmation email.
What happens if I miss the return deadline?
Please return your Loan kit(s) on time, as others may be waiting to use it. If you miss the deadline, our extended return policy will apply*. The amount depends on the cases. For more details, kindly see our Terms & Conditions.
Why do I need to pay a security deposit?
The deposit covers the value of the equipment while it’s in your care. If any parts are lost or damaged, repair or replacement costs will be deducted. If costs exceed the deposit, or if the equipment is lost or stolen, you may be responsible for the full value.
Can someone else pay my deposit?
No. The deposit must be paid with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) in the same name as the booking and registered to the delivery address.
When will I receive my deposit refund?
Your deposit will be refunded once your return has been inspected and your order closed. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your refund and an exclusive coupon code. Please note that it may take up to 14 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card provider.
Why have I been asked to provide more information?
To help protect the program from fraud, we may request such details as your address, photo ID, contact information, current equipment, or intended use. If the information is unsatisfactory or the program is being misused, Panasonic reserves the right to cancel the order.
When will my debit/credit card be charged?
Your card will be charged $999.99 at the time you place your order.
Can I pay over the phone?
No. For security reasons, we cannot accept payments by phone. All transactions are processed online through our encrypted payment provider to keep your details safe.
Do you have any exclusive offers after my trial? Am I eligible for coupons if I buy a product after my trial?
Yes. If you complete the LUMIX Loaner program, you will receive a coupon code for the purchase of LUMIX products or for free expedited shipping for the use on any products at shop.panasonic.com. The eligible LUMIX products are limited to the models listed in the loan kits.
How do I claim my coupon or ticket?
After we inspect your returned equipment, we will email you a confirmation with your coupon code/ticket code. Simply enter the code at checkout on shop.panasonic.com.
