Our Trade In, Trade Up program allows you to trade in eligible used cameras or lenses from a wide range of brands and receive an exclusive discount coupon toward the purchase of select LUMIX cameras or lenses.
How do I start the trade-in process?
- Make sure your trade-in gear is eligible by checking in the Search section. Please also provide an estimate of its condition by selecting from the provided options.
- Fill out your required information (name, email address, etc.) and hit Submit.
- You will receive an on-the-spot quote from UsedPhotoPro with an initial estimate for the value of your gear.*
- You will also receive a separate, exclusive coupon directly from LUMIX to apply to your trade-up LUMIX camera or lens at checkout on https://shop.panasonic.com/pages/lumix.
*Please note that a final offer will be made only after UsedPhotoPro has received the gear, and physically inspected and verified its condition.
How do I complete my LUMIX purchase?
Select your new LUMIX camera gear from our great line-up. Your coupon will be applied automatically at checkout. If you want to wait to shop, your coupon is valid for 30 days.
How do I complete my gear trade-in?
If the quote estimate is acceptable to you, UsedPhotoPro will email you with a pre-paid shipping label and further instructions on how to send your gear for inspection and payment.
How is the trade-in value determined?
Trade-in values are based on the model, condition, market demand, and completeness of your gear. Including original accessories can increase your trade-in value, but they are not always required.
Do I have to wait to trade in my gear before I use the coupon?
Nope! Your coupon can be used right away through LUMIX on shop.panasonic.com. The trade-in is handled through UsedPhotoPro.
What if I disagree with the final trade-in value?
You can choose whether or not to accept UsedPhotoPro’s final offer after the inspection. If you change your mind after the inspection, you will have an option to have UsedPhotoPro send the gear back to you at no charge. We simply ask for confirmation of a return address and your gear will be shipped back to you and the quote will be canceled.
I sent in my gear and haven’t used my coupon yet. How long do I have to use it?
You have 30 days to use your coupon.
I used my coupon already and did not send in my trade-in. What are my options?
If a coupon was used to make a purchase without completing the Trade-in process, UsedPhotoPro will reach out first to give you the opportunity to clarify the situation.
Please note that, depending on the circumstances, failing to complete the Trade-in may be considered misuse of the program and could result in further action.

Can I trade in more than one item at a time?
You may trade in multiple working items, but please note that when using the website, you can only trade in one camera or lens at a time. Likewise, you will only receive one coupon code to apply toward your trade up to a LUMIX camera or lens. If you would like to trade in numerous items, please email UsedPhotoPro after they reach out to you with instructions on where to send your trade-in gear.
How long does the trade-in process take?
From submission to final credit, the process typically takes 5–10 business days (assuming you send your gear in ASAP).
How will I get paid for my trade-in gear?
Payment for your used gear will be done in the form of either a check mailed to your address, or an electronic payment via Paypal.
My coupon expired before I had a chance to use it. What now?
You will need to re-apply for the trade-up bonus and submit your online quote again in order to receive a new unique coupon code.
Can I combine my trade-in credit with other promotions?
You cannot combine other coupons offered by Panasonic through other programs. The coupon is applicable against the pricing offered in shop.panasonic.com at the time.
Can I use my trade-in credit in-store and online?
The trade-in coupon code is only eligible online at shop.panasonic.com.
Are refurbished or used items eligible for trade-up purchases?

Can I return or exchange the item I traded up to?
