Panasonic Refurbished Program Terms & Conditions

Panasonic Refurbished Products Program (the "Program") is offered by Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company, a Division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, whose registered address is Two Riverfront Plaza, Newark, New Jersey 07102 (the "Promoter").

The Program allows eligible customers to purchase Panasonic refurbished products ("Refurbished Products") through Shop Panasonic USA.

Participant's participation in the Program and/or purchase of a Refurbished Product constitutes Participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Promoter, which are final and binding.

Note: Promoter's computer is the official timekeeping device for this Program.

DEFINITIONS
A "Refurbished Product" means a previously owned, returned, open-box, demonstration, overstock, or otherwise non-new Panasonic product that has undergone inspection, testing, cleaning, repair (if necessary), and certification by Panasonic or its authorized service providers before being offered for sale.
Refurbished Products are certified to meet Panasonic operational standards but may contain minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality.

ELIGIBILITY
The Program is open only to legal permanent residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories are excluded unless otherwise specified by Promoter.
This Program is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

PRODUCT CONDITION DISCLOSURE
Refurbished Products are not sold as new products.

Refurbished Products:

Have undergone inspection and testing by Panasonic or its authorized service providers.
May contain replacement parts where necessary.
May have been previously opened, returned, displayed, or used for demonstration purposes.
May show minor cosmetic blemishes, including scratches, scuffs, or other signs of previous handling that do not impact normal operation.
Are certified to be fully functional unless otherwise disclosed.

Minor cosmetic imperfections shall not be considered defects and shall not be grounds for warranty claims.

INCLUDED ACCESSORIES AND PACKAGING
Refurbished Products include all accessories identified in the applicable operating instructions, except for the printed operating instructions themselves.

Packaging for Refurbished Products may differ from packaging used for new products.
Printed manuals may not be included and may instead be available in digital format.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Refurbished Product inventory is limited.

All Refurbished Products are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are available only while supplies last.
Promoter does not guarantee the availability of any Refurbished Product and reserves the right to discontinue, modify, remove, or limit quantities of any Refurbished Product at any time without notice.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Participants may return eligible Refurbished Products in accordance with Panasonic's applicable return policy.
Returned products must:

Include all supplied accessories.
Include original packaging where reasonably available.
Not be damaged beyond minor cosmetic imperfections or modified.

Promoter reserves the right to inspect all returned products before issuing refunds.
Refunds shall be processed using the original payment method.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Each Refurbished Product includes a Limited Warranty. The applicable warranty period varies by product category, as specified below.

LUMIX Cameras, Lenses, and Accessories: This Limited Warranty applies for ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase. These refurbished products are not eligible for the LUMIX Pro Services Extended Warranty.
*As of October 1, 2026, LUMIX is the only product category available under the Refurbished Program. The applicable Limited Warranty period for any additional product category will be specified when that category becomes available.

During the warranty period, Promoter may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the product;
Replace the product with the same model;
Replace the product with a comparable refurbished model; or
Issue a refund.

Warranty service shall not extend the original warranty period.
Proof of purchase including a copy of the invoice will be required to obtain warranty service.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The Limited Warranty does not cover:

Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery;
Normal wear and tear;
Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident;
Liquid damage;
Unauthorized modifications;
Unauthorized repairs;
Damage caused by incompatible accessories or third-party equipment;
Firmware modifications not approved by Panasonic;
Removal or alteration of serial numbers;
Commercial abuse of the product;
Loss or theft.

Promoter reserves the right to determine whether damage is covered under warranty.

CONDITION-BASED PRICING
Refurbished Product pricing reflects the condition of the product and should not be interpreted as a discount, promotion, rebate, or reduced-price offering of a new product. Pricing of Refurbished Products is separate from pricing, promotions, discounts, rebates, and MAP policies applicable to new Panasonic products.

INDEMNIFICATION: By participating in the Program, each Participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Promoter, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, as applicable, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising out of your participation in or association with the Program.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: Promoter is not responsible for any miscommunications such as technical failures related to computer, telephone, cable, incorrect dates or times printed on your purchase receipt, and unavailable network or server connections, related technical failures, or other failures related to hardware, software, or virus, or incomplete, late, or misdirected submissions. Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Program in its sole discretion. The Promoter will not be held responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, incorrect dates or times printed on your purchase receipt, or other failures or damage of any kind, to the extent that this prevents the Participant from, or otherwise obstructs the Participant from entering the Program.

Miscellaneous
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: Promoter reserves the right to modify the Program Period and the Claim Period, and the right to modify, add, or remove additional deadlines for any reason. Any changes will be communicated through the information Participants use to participate in the Program. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all claims to protect itself against fraudulent, invalid, or repetitive claims including, without limitation, to require the Participant to prove that they did not return the product within a period of 30 days from the date of delivery.

PRIVACY: Participants agree that personal data submitted and any other information provided in connection with the Program may be processed, shared, and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Program and any other purposes outlined in the Privacy Policy found at https://na.panasonic.com/us/privacy-policy.
In addition to the uses of personal information described in that Policy, Promoter will use information you provide through entry into the Program to administer the Program.

SEVERABILITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Program Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Program Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision was not contained herein.

GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE: Participant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Program or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate courts located in New York, New York; and (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket direct costs incurred associated with entering the Program, but in no event, any incidental, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees or court costs. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Program Terms and Conditions, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Promoter in connection with this Program shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
