Half life-size macro photography

With a maximum magnification of 0.5x* and a closest focusing distance of 0.14m*, it is ideal for close-ups of flowers, table settings, and other subject matter. Its superior macro capability allows for increased creative flexibility, such as the use of bokeh to make the subject stand out, or stopping down the aperture to capture a spacious background.

Compact size equivalent to a standard zoom lens (S-R2060). The center of gravity is aligned closely, allowing for smooth lens changes when shooting video using a gimbal or drone. In the zoom lens series, the focus ring and zoom ring are positioned close to each other for smooth operation.

Dust, splash and freeze-resistant design

This lens is designed to keep shooting in the toughest conditions thanks to its dust- and splash-resistant construction and allowing you to shoot in temperatures as low as -10°C. The fluorine coating applied to the front lens prevents the sticking of oil-based dirt.
