Advanced Recording Formats

• 8.1K / 7.2K (3:2) Open Gate recording and RAW data video can be output via HDMI for external recording.

Improved Shooting Assistance

• Adds Urban Sports recognition to the existing human detection capabilities for eyes, faces, and bodies, accurately capturing dynamic movements such as breakdancing, skateboarding, and parkour.
• Expands the frame aspect ratio options from 10 to 17 and enables simultaneous display of up to 3 frames.
• Adds Focus Stacking functionality, allowing you to adjust the focus area after shooting by combining multiple images taken at different focus distances—resulting in striking depth of field and enhanced image detail.

Enhanced customization

• Focus ring can be used as a control ring, enabling for assigning key functions. Additionally, the focus rotation direction can be selected in MF mode.

Improved Compatibility with Capture One

• Now supports both Wi-Fi connections and wired LAN connections (via USB Ethernet adapter) for seamless integration with Capture One.

Feature Addition via Upgrade Software Key DMW-SFU3A (sold separately)

• A new activation feature enables extended functionality when using the optional upgrade software key DMW-SFU3A (sold separately).
• Once activated, the Photo Style option [ARRI LogC3] will be added.

Focus Stacking Feature Added

• Deep-focus images can now be created by compositing multiple shots taken at different focal distances, allowing for enhanced depth of field and sharpness.

Enhanced Pixel Refresh Function

• A new option allows pixel refresh to be performed automatically, accessible via the menu.
• This setting will be turned on by default after the firmware update. The mechanical shutter will activate during the refresh process.

Additional Enhancements

• The AF frame color can now be customized to suit user preference.
• The frame marker function has been upgraded—users can now display up to three frame markers simultaneously.
• Improved compatibility with OM Digital Solutions Co., Ltd. flash units.
