Udon Noodles

Udon noodles are incredibly versatile, making them perfect for any dish. Whether you're making a flavorful soup or a savory stir fry, these fresh noodles will be the perfect base and are simple and quick to prepare.

 

Ingredients

¾ cup Bread flour

¾ cup Cake flour

¾ cup lukewarm water

2 tsp salt

 

Preparation

  1. Mix salt with lukewarm water until dissolved.
  2. Mix bread flour, cake flour and salted lukewarm water into the Panasonic Bread Maker. Select menu 19 “Bread Kneading”, then press “Start.”
  3. When kneading cycle is complete, remove from bread machine, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for one hour.
  4. Dust your workstation with cake flour and roll dough to approx. 1/8 of an inch thick, then cut into noodle strips depending on your length preference.
  5. Boil for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
