NN-SD945S 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In/Countertop Microwave Oven
NN-SD945S 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In/Countertop Microwave Oven

This sleek, stainless steel 1250 Watt full-size microwave with Inverter Technology quickly and conveniently delivers quick, easy cooking, defrosting and reheating. Its push-button control panel, four-digit display and 18 preset menu options provide a near-effortless cooking experience for everyday meals, side dishes, vegetables and more.

Inverter Technology

Inverter Technology perfects the art of microwave cooking by delivering delicious flavor, excellent color and superb shape and texture in the foods you cook. Inverter's consistent energy flow means even delicate foods can simmer without the edges and surfaces overcooking. Foods have the look and taste of conventional-oven cooking without the wait.

Great Cooking, No Guesswork

With one-touch sensor cook and reheat, Panasonic automatically sets power levels and adjusts cooking, defrosting and reheating times. The sensor measures the amount of steam naturally produced during cooking and signals the oven's advanced microprocessor to automatically calculate the remaining cooking time.

Inverter Turbo Defrost™

Advanced Turbo Defrost helps prepare food more evenly and efficiently. It utilizes a microwave sequencing system based on Inverter's continuous-power delivery to efficiently thaw foods while also preserving flavor, texture and nutrients. With Turbo Defrost, there are no frozen centers or overcooked edges.

Sleek Controls

A chrome dial, push-button control panel, four-digit display and 18 preset menu options provide automatic convenience for hot cereals and omelets, frozen after-school snacks, vegetables, frozen entrees, pasta, potatoes, popcorn and more.

Keep Warm Feature

Keep vegetables, soups, hors d'oeuvres, gravies, sauces and desserts warm and delicious until ready to serve for up to 30 minutes. The microwave delivers a pulsing, automatic stream of low microwave power to maintain constant temperature levels in foods without overcooking.

More Advantages

More everyday conveniences include a quick-minute timer to set cooking and reheating times in single-minute intervals, or add another minute when needed. Plus, a handy delay start feature and versatile timer also help make cooking easier. A child safety lock keeps young hands from operating the oven.

Maximum Interior, Minimal Footprint

The smarter, lighter, more compact Inverter power unit occupies less interior space than other brands to provide the largest space possible for cooking. It all adds up to less weight overall and a minimal exterior footprint when placed on your countertop.

Choose Countertop or Built-in

This exceptional countertop model has a minimal exterior footprint to help maximize countertop space. If you prefer your microwave built in to a new or existing wall or cabinet, Panasonic offers stylish, optional stainless-steel trim kits for the built-in model and size you choose.

FAQs
  • What should I check if my microwave stops working?

Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the outlet to see if it has been tripped or blown. Check other outlets to see if there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet that is on the same circuit as the outlet used for the unit and see if it needs to be reset. Connect the oven to another outlet to see if unit is still operational. If the unit is still not working, please contact a local authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair.

If power is not available at the outlet check your fuse/circuit breaker, panel.

Note: Newer homes/buildings are generally wired with GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) receptacles, if your building is equipped with GFI receptacles be sure to check if the circuit breaker directly on the receptacle has been tripped and requires reset.
