Daniel J. Cox
For 40 years Dan has traveled all seven continents in search of the images that inspire his art and inform his audience. Dan’s natural history images have been featured in galleries such as the Natural History Museum of London and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson. He is a regular contributor to natural history publications worldwide with 100's of magazine covers to his credit including two cover stories for National Geographic Magazine. In 2013 he was awarded NANPA’s Outstanding Nature Photographer of the Year award and he sit’s on the advisory board to Polar Bears International were he leads their program the Arctic Documentary Project. Dan as been a Lumix Luminary for tree years. He and his wife Tanya run Natural Exposures Innovational Photo Tours were they take enthusiast photographers around the world to capture world class imagery while enjoying an exciting vacation. "Education provides the most powerful toolbox known to man. Photography is just one of the many tools I’ve chosen to tell the stories that inspire change, provide hope, and enlighten viewers.
