Electric Razor Care & Maintenance
How to Clean Your Panasonic Men’s Electric Shaver
When you purchase a men’s electric shaver, you are investing in a grooming tool that you may use almost everyday for years to come. And, like any men’s grooming tool, keeping your electric shaver clean is important to ensure it maintains an optimal performance.
By cleaning the men’s razor head after each use, you will prevent build-up of hair in the men’s shaver head, which could affect cutting performance. We recommend cleaning your shaver when the faucet symbol appears on the Panasonic Wet Dry Shaver lamp display. Or, you can choose to be a bit more proactive and clean your shaver after every use.
Cleaning the cordless men’s razor is simple. First, make sure you unplug the charging cable from your Panasonic Shaver. Apply hand soap and water to the outer foil then switch the shaver on for about 20 seconds. After you have turned the shaver off, remove the Panasonic wet dry shaver outer foil and rinse clean under warm running water. Then, with outer foil removed turn the men’s electric razor back on and rinse under water for about 20 seconds. Carefully shake off excess water and wipe away any water droplets from the inner blade and outer foils then replace the outer foil. It’s that quick and simple!
Many Panasonic men’s shavers, including the elite-tier ES-LV65-S ARC5 Series Shaver, are equipped with Sonic Vibration Cleaning Mode which allows blades to move back and forth very quickly. This can easily be engaged by holding down the power button for about two seconds*.
To make cleaning your Panasonic electric shaver even easier, you may want to opt for a model that includes a cleaning & charging station, like the elite-tier Panasonic ARC 5 ES-LV95-S 5-Blade shaver or the premium-tier ES-LT7N-S ARC3 men’s electric shaver.
