TC-P65VT60 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Outstanding Piece of Technology Having owned 2 plasma Panasonic Televisions and still in possession; VIERA-Plasma-HDTH-50PX20U/P, TCP-65GT30, my loyalty to this brand still remains solid. TCP-65VT60 the greatest and second to last of the Panasonic plasma series. I was told at BestBuy "you happened to own the second best Plasma in the world" second to the TCP-65ZT60 that is. This is an outstanding piece of engineering worsts its weight in gold. I am absolutely sold on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV I have seen I debated before I spent the money on this tv. It was worth it. Everyone that sees the picture comments on how good the picture is for a tv that is this large. So happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture Great picture, looks good, supper slim and sleek. Only issue is the voices are harder to hear and get drowned out a bit by background noise but I now use a center speaker and all is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new 65VT60 I purchased the Panasonic 65VT60, 8 weeks ago. I have been able to use it consistently since purchasing and this is by far the best TV I have ever seen or owned. I am so glad I made this purchase. • Picture Quality – o Action Movies: I recently watched The Amazing Spiderman on blue ray, with this tv. The picture was outstanding. Crisp, clear and bright. I tried out the “vivid” setting on this movie and was blown away by the contrast and black levels. It felt like I was in the tv o Sports: I’ve been patiently waiting for football season to come back before writing this review. One of the main reasons for buying this tv was to watch football every Sunday. The 65VT60 did not disappoint. There was no motion blur whatsoever, while watching live football action. I watched the Superbowl last year on a 70inch LED and my 65VT60 blew that TV out of the water. o Various cable programs: I’m still playing around with the various picture settings to figure out what works best for each program at different times of the day. This tv is placed in a bright room and the THX bright room option is perfect for day time watching. • VIERA® Remote 2 – I downloaded the Panasonic remote app for my Iphone 4S. I love that I can access all features of the tv, including advanced picture adjustments, through my smartphone. The app is extremely user friendly, even my wife was able to use it. • My Home Screen is the initial screen you see when turning on the television. This TV is so big that you’re able to watch tv in one corner of the screen while surfing the web, etc., in another. My home screen makes this TV the centerpiece of the home. You can access apps, surf the web and even make voice memos for other members of your family. • Built-In Camera – I LOVE having a built in camera on my television. Skype is amazing on a 65 inch tv. My kids get to skype with their grandparents and see them on a HUGE screen instead of a small computer monitor or tablet. The pictures is clear and the app works seamlessly. • Swipe & Share 2.0 – I tried using Swipe and Share from the Iphone app but unfortunately, my pictures and video would not transfer to the television. I kept receiving an error message. I’m not sure if it’s an iphone issue or the type of media I was sharing but I really hope this works better in the future. The idea is great but the usability is currently limited. • Audio Performance – Built-In Speakers The VT60 produces the best sound of any TV I’ve had. That being said, I recommend a better sound system. If you are spending this much on a TV, I suggest using a sound bar or receiver/spearker combo. •Voice Interaction – using the touchpad remote, I was able easily search for restaurants and sports scores with the press of one button. The voice search accurately picked up what I was saying 90% of the time. • Electronic Pen – The electronic pen is a large stylus like writing tool that allows you to safely draw on your VT60 plasma. I bought the Electronic pen so my daughter can use the drawing/painting app. She is obsessed and addicted to this app. I have to keep an eye on her to make sure she’s being gentle with the television but I’m really glad I bought the pen. I hope more apps become available that allow use of this pen, but if not, its still worth using on the paint app.

  • I can access other Apps on my TV, but cannot access Netflix. How can I fix this?
    Symptoms:
    • When the Netflix app is selected, the Netflix splash screen appears, then Netflix closes and returns to the VIERA Cast home screen, Network Services screen, or HOME screen.
    • When the Netflix app is selected, "Unable to Connect to Netflix. Please Try Again Later" is displayed
    • Netflix can be accessed, but when a title is selected, "Unable to Play This Title Right Now. Please Try Again Later" is displayed.
    • Netflix can be accessed, a title can be selected, but during playback the picture blanks out, buffers, or freezes frequently.

    Additional Information:
    • Network applications on Panasonic products are only accessible on networks with high speed internet access.

    Suggested Solution:
    • Power the Netflix ready device on and allow at least 90 seconds for it to connect to the network before performing a Connection Test.
    • Once the Connection Test has passed, attempt to open the Netflix application. If the Netflix application fails to open, manually change the Primary DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4. If there is only one DNS setting available, change it to 8.8.8.8 (click here for a TV network troubleshooting tutorial.)
    • Once the DNS has been changed, perform another Connection Test.
    • Once the Connection Test has passed, attempt to open the Netflix application.
    • If none of your applications can be accessed, unplug the power cord of your modem or router for at least 10 seconds. This will reboot your modem or router.
    • If the Netflix application still fails to open, try another network application. If other applications function properly but Netflix does not click here for Netflix Help Center or call Netflix customer support at 1-866-716-0414.

  • The power light on the TV is on steady, but I do not have a picture, sound or both?
This could be caused by a few factors:

First check to ensure your TV is selected to the correct input (Source). If you are watching cable or satellite, following the cable from that device to the back of your TV.
If it is connected to antenna, HDMI 1/2/3, component or video you must also have the TV input select to match that connection. On the remote push the input button to check what source is selected on your TV.
Very important, you must ensure your cable box or satellite unit is turned on.
On some cable and satellite boxes, you may get audio with no picture if the box is turned off. If this does not resolve your issue, you may require service.
