TC-P60VT60 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV ever made before 2016's UHD Premium OLEDs Over three years now I've owned the 60" VT60 plasma and it still thrills me to this day with its amazingly deep and inky black levels, stunning contrast ratio (backed up by the best ANSI measurements of any set since the KURO plasmas and only now bested by OLED's infinite contrast), 96Hz judder-free playback of 24p material and all round winner winner chicken dinner picture quality. This plasma is stunning. What a shame we never got to see where Panasonic were going next with plasma, but their European OLED set has given all plasma owners hope that the best in picture quality is still yet to come. Please bring your 4K OLED sets to the North American market this year (2017), we need them!! I can only add one con - weight! That's only because I didn't want to leave the field empty. This set is a plus through and through. No "floating blacks" like my 42" S2 model, no issues with fan noise and I didn't even install the kit and mine was a March 2013 build, sure I can hear it but it's not intrusive. Just an absolute winner and what a dead sexy TV too, compared to the bulky retro-looking bezels on the 6, 7 and 8 serties then into the 10 and 20 series, the 50 series finally got a gorgeous bezel and the 60 series was no exception. I had a GT50 in between my S2 and VT60, only upgraded because I went from 50" to 60" and had forewarning that the rumoured "70 series" was never going to see the light of day. Miss you Panasonic, come back to the telly market PLEASE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Television Ever Owned Have had this now for almost a year. Picture is amazing, great detail with all content. No motion blur noticed while watching sports or fast action. Audio leave a bit to be desired but that may just be because I am getting old and hard of hearing. Overall a 5 in every way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome More than I expected sight unseen. This TV has a marvelous picture and the many features are very easy to use, although it seems pretty complicated when you read about it. Home screens are setup for each family member and I love the ability to leave messages for hubby and children. The pop-up camera is ideal for chatting with friends and family via Skype. Overall: You get a lot for the money you spend on this TV and the picture quality is unbelieveable.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
