Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV! This is the 3rd Panasonic Plasma TV for me. It is excellent in all areas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Image retention/burn-in still an issue Image retention is still an issue with plasma TVs, and this TV suffers significantly from it. Even with low contrast, I had issues with image retention, which now makes it difficult to fully enjoy the product. The picture quality is great for movies, but I am nervous about watching sport or news channels now as they frequently have static images such as scoreboards or scrolling tickers which I know will burn in to the screen

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Smart TV"?? The Panasonic TC-P60ST50 is call a Smart TV. I would question that statement as it is not smart enought to use a mouse or track ball. Of course this only hinders going on-line a navagating links. If you want the smart fucntion of on-line capabilities, shop around, mybe the copetition has a smarter TV. I had to use my laptop to write this as on line the the Viera is to slow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major image retention I have This plasma tv for 2 months the picture is amazing but the tv has major image retention. I am not a big gamer but I watch allot of nfl games and espn and nfl network and that content made the tv have the outline of score banner permanently ghosting in the bottom of the screen. I run the scroles bars in menu for hours with no success.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Picture We just bought this tv a few days ago... Im a huge fan of LED tvs and have never liked plasmas... Except for this tv, it literally is the best picture quality I have ever seen on a tv! Overall the tv is great except for the sound quality... we just ended up buying a sound system to match the picture quality!

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
