TC-P60ST30 is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV I've owned this TV for 16 months. No issues at all. Plasma has the best picture. Panasonic makes the best Plasmas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture...buzzing can be fixed! Love this TV. It has a great picture! Several reviews indicate that there is a problem with a buzzing sound coming from the TV. Ours had this as well. Called Panasonic and they set us up with a local company that came out. The problem was some loose screws inside the TV. Apparently this is a pretty common problem with some Panasonic models. Technician tightened up the screws and this fixed the problem! If your TV is buzzing I recommend addressing this before your warranty runs out!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buzzing Sound My tv was bought for a christmas present and replaced and old 40in plasma panasonic model. The old is back on the wall were the new one was and is working fine {no buzzing} The new one is waiting for a call back for panasonic, The new tv worked good for about 5 months then starting making a buzzing sound like a transfomer on a large outdoor light . This noise will drive u crazy . I think Panasonic makes good products , hope they do the right thing with my tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV! We are upgrading to this TV from a 7 year old panasonic rear projection HDTV. We have had this tv for two weeks now and it has been great. The picture quality is great and I love the Viera Connect! It is so nice to be able to stream netflix without having to go through our PS3. There are also so many other options I can't wait to try them out! So far it appears to do everything we want it to. Bluerays look great on it. I haven't tried out the 3d features yet, but will soon. It seems very user friendly. People that come over are amazed at the picture as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad. I love this TV, the only complaint I have is with Viera Connect. The menu is excruciatingly slow when moving from menu item to menu item. This is my first plasma TV and I am pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV is great Viera Connect could be better I've had this TV for a month and I love the picture quality and the Viera Connect options. One problem with Viera Connect though is that there doesn't appear to be a way to turn on Closed Captioning for people who need this feature. Netflix has provided CC for many of it's movies but you can only turn on CC if you stream from a computer not when watching Netflix through the Viera Connect app.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
