TC-P60GT30 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent You buy an HDTV of this size for the picture and this one is gorgeous. Blacks are jet-black. Colors are vibrant. Viewing angle is darn near 180 degrees. One reviewer commented on poor sound. With a set like this you really should be using a audio/video receiver and lots of speakers. I never use the TVs speakers so I can not comment on the quality. I have not found any value in the network connectivity. Yes, it works, but the USB wifi adapter sticks out a bit so i pulled it out. I never used it anyway. Wish I could watch HD programming but the price of the headsets makes it impractical. This is my 2nd large screen Panasonic plasma*. Both my kids also bought Panasonic plasma sets based upon our experience and love them. I hope you never stop making them cause they beat LCD hands down. (* The first is still working great after 5 years but I just wanted a larger one.I gave the first to my father who watches it at least 8 hours a day.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent TV!!!! This TV has an incredible picture! It is far better than LED DLP it replaces. There are lots of features here including interenet connectivity to a variety of programs including Netflix, Youtube, Facebook, Skype and more. There are a ton of adjustments available for you to fine tune your picture. It's easy to set up and absolutely stunning to look at! I cannot say enough about how clear, smooth, and lifelike everything looks with this TV. Lots of connections including 4-HDMI inputs. The TV speakers are about what you would expect, poor. But why would you not complement such a beautiful picture with awesome sound? I prefer my TV maker to invest in making a great picture and I'll leave the sound up to speaker companies. Not having a proper sound system(stereo or surround) is like putting cheap tires on a Ferrari. I don't use the TV speakers but I did test them out a bit. Great picture only gets better with great sound! I've got great sound, and this TV brings phenomenal picture. Definitely worth checking out IMHO. FYI, I have not tried the 3D. I only use this TV for 2D. I think it is ridiculous to have to buy and wear a special set of glasses to watch TV. 3D is just not for me. I like it in movie theaters, but not for home viewing. This is just my personal preference.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Picture, Horrible Sound There are two key aspects to a TV -- picture and sound. The picture on this TV is fantastic. Set up is very easy, but I do recommend you use a picture tuning DVD to get the best picture. This TV offers advanced settings to really fine tune the settings. Viera Connect works great and expedites setup with complimentary products (blu-ray, sound bar). Now the bad part -- the sound is extremely poor for this level of TV. I own 4 panasonic TVs and this by far has the worst sound. There is no balance between the primary sound (e.g. dialogue) and background noise. It is particularly bad in surround mode. Also, the speakers make a vibrating sound at about sound volume of 20+. I assume part of this is a result of the TV being so thin. Plan on buying a sound bar or the experience will definitely be compromised..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, but... TV is great, 3D imaging is the best I've seen, the only 2 things I have a problem with is 1) when changing channels it takes a while to load the image 2) for the price we paid for the TV you'd think they could add a pair of 3D glasses. Instead they make you buy them if you want to use the 3D feature. Bad PR, makes Panasonic seem cheap.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
