Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works excellent But... Works excellent, wonderful picture, but can feel lots of heat coming out the front of screen which does not help keep the Living room cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Upgrade I bought this Plasma TV after plenty pre-search online, with friends, and with a couple home video pros. Though the pros wanted to bundle it into a home theater package, I found an excellent holiday sale price at local Big Box and decided to do the install myself. I upgrade from a 40" LCD on a TV stand to this 55" wall mounted above my fireplace. The upgrade is night and day. Picture quality is fantastic, set-up and install were easy, configuring picture with CNET recommendations was very easy and demonstrably improved picture. Coupled with a medium range sound bar and sub, this combination is just perfect for our viewing and listening. Oh, and my wife appreciates the additional room floor space now that our TV furniture is removed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does not support Adobe Flash I was very excited to get this tv with the wifi option. Turns out it does support Adobe Flash and you can't watch videos from you web-browser. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I bought this as my first "fancy" tv purchase, upgrading from an older 47" hand-me-down plasma, and immediately regretted spending that kind of dough on a TV. However, the pre-search I had done showed I did get an excellent price in comparison to other related models. Once I got it home, all regrets disappeared. Set up was super easy, mounting to my stand was easier than using the stand that comes with it. Set up with the internet was a breeze - I run my wi-fi through my cell phone. Hands down, super easy to set up, super easy to configure and was watching the set within 15 min of getting it out of the box. I cannot BELIEVE how great the picture looks in my living room. Colors are all crisp, clear and fabulous. We set it up and put on Dr. Who streaming through the cell phone from Netflicks via the units onboard out of the box capabilities. Phenomenal. I can't say enough about it. I have visual impairments that make most tv viewing blah, don't see colors quite right and don't see well in general. This is the first time I haven’t been perched on the edge of my seat of see the fine details. My son said "I can even see the zit on his nose!" Hands down, awesome. :) I'm frugal and don't generally splurge on non-essential items unless it is for outdoor recreation. Totally pleased with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from bright room This tv is good but don't buy if you have a bright room with lots of big windows. The picture look dull in a bright room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific The TV looks great and works very well with my receiver and home theater. Mounting on the ceiling mount was straight forward. Set up and use seem fairly easy. Everyone is very happy with the performance of the TV.
