TC-P54G25 is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome tv! Absolutely beautiful picture. More settings than anything I've ever owned! Still need to read instructions thoroughly to find out all of the set's capabilities, but as far as just sitting down and watching the game or a movie, it's breathtaking. You can't beat it for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, until the Wii murdered it Had it for three weeks until a Wii Nunchuk controller took out the screen (wrist strap was in use, etc, this was the other, unprotected by a rubber sheild, controller); it just TAPPED the screen lightly and BAM, a crack appeared and the TV shut off. The panel is history. This is NOT covered by the warranty so now I'm waiting for an estimate to see if its worth fixing. Next time I'm definitely getting something like TV Armor to protect this egg-like panel (a common issue with all manufacturers, LCDs and Plasmas both). My old CRT never would've failed under such a minor , yet ridiculously expensive, impact but it never looked anywhere near as good, either. Just a warning to the rest of you with kids, maybe check out a screen protector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV! Where's NetFlix? Wow! Great picture at an excellent price. HD TV and Blu-Ray look awesome on this TV. Best picture quality by far in my opinion. VieraCast connected easily and works well. Where's the NetFlix? We are disappointed to find out it's not available on VieraCast until later this summer. We expected to have it directly beam to the TV, and when we can, perhaps I'd give it 5 stars in all categories. Did I mention AWESOME picture quality? Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It can't get better than this! We replaced a DLP with the 54G...WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I added the Wi-Fi USB adapter and connected to our wireless network. Now all the features of Viera Cast are available1

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
