TC-L58E60 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture but Not Good For Streaming Amazon Picture is great, but I regularly stream from Amazon and have experienced two problems: (1) Amazon streams at a higher quality than Netflix, and the TV could not stream the movies when connected to a strong WiFi signal so I had to hard wire it. Even now, directly connected by an ethernet chord, I can see the TV working, trying to stream the movie and often times it seems that the TV is not going to be able to stream the movie. (By working I mean that the screen is black except for a status bar that shows the progress of the download/streaming); it often takes 1-2 minutes before the movie will play. I'm going to contact customer service to see if they have a solution (2) the Amazon software of Panasonic TV's is not the same software that you have when streaming online and via Roku. Any movies or shows that you saved to your Wish List while online or on Roku, cannot be viewed when using the Amazon app on this TV. A third "issue" is that it doesn't have a headphone jack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great TV Had narrowed my choice between 2 TVs. One far too expensive which I liked but could not afford and the Panasonic. I'm very happy. Great picture quality. Great sound without a sound bar or sound system. I've owned several Panasonic products (tv's, phones, power drills), and this one is as good as any of the others that were retired not because they wore out, but because the technology infrastructure changed so dramatically they no longer had an effective useful life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase ever This TV is riddled with problems. Bad flashlighting, flimsey construction on the housing, slow app interface, and it is the 2nd one I have owned snce the first had a power search. I know it is not just a bad unit since both have had the same issues. There is also a compatibility issue on HDMI 2 with Xbox 360 due to ARC technology that cannot be turned off. My experience with this TV has made me never want to purchase another panasonic product in my life.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
