Reviews

TC-L32E5 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really nice TV. I was looking for a 32" 1080P "Smart" TV and this one fitted the bill perfectly. Our main TV is also a Panasonic, but plasma. We have this set in our bedroom and it gets used every day. My only negative with the TV, and also any others I looked at, is the dirth of non-HDMI inputs :-( There is only one and it is shared as composite or component. I would like two to be able to use more legacy equipment without the analogue to HDMI converter I am forced to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Panasonic's Arrival I truly think this is the arrival of panasonic in the mainstream market and to compete with the rivals. I bought a 32" for my bedroom and i am absolutely loving it. The picture quality is amazing and the mobile app remote access makes it really user friendly. If there was one thing i could complain about, it would be the sound. The quality is great but i think it could have been a little bit more loud, if you know what i mean. However, if anyone is looking for a smart TV that can make their viewing experince a joy, Go for this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As best as LCD TVs get I purchased this TV for my bedroom. I own an outstanding plasma TV for the living room and I am spoiled by the superior image this TV produces. LCD panels have never really impressed me. There are, however, no smaller plasma displays, therefore I had to get an LCD display. This TV is the best possible solution for a high quality LCD display, particularly if optimally adjusted. It has excellent gray scale and displays an almost film like picture. There is very little "LCD smearing" in fast movement, although it can still be detected if you look for it. Viewing from the side is still not as good as with plasma displays, but much improved. In addition, it is one of the few smaller panels that have full 1080 resolution. The TV may not be as cheap as the competitors, but it outweighs the price with quality. In all, this is an LCD TV that I can get used to and recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional TV We purchased 2 TVs of the same model. One of the reasons we decided on Panasonic because the other TVs that we reviewed the sound quality was not good. Great picture and sound.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
