TC-65AX800U is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic 4K 65 inch 3D all everything All aspects of receiving this unit into my home was spectacular. I have failing eyesight and I can be very comfortable with viewing all programming. I have another Panasonic that is 5-6 years old and the picture quality is the same as the first day I turned it on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very disappointed Previous TV was a Panasonic 55 inch 1080 HD plasma. I was hooked on UHD, so purchased this unit. Problem is that I cannot use Netflix, and per different articles, never will. What good is a 4K TV when you cannot access 4K content? I would like to return for the new one coming out that will receive Netflix 4K movies. What say, Panasonic? Will you correct your mistake?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Picture Quality We've had this tv since August, and it's amazing. Automatic connection to Wi-Fi. Perfect streaming right out of the box. Amazing picture. There is one thing wrong with it though. The browser is substandard and needs to be upgraded. Unfortunately there is nothing available. I have online video subscriptions and the browser can't handle the bandwidth and throws an error message saying it's capabilities have been exceeded. Luckily, connecting through an HDMI port and using the browser in the laptop is possible. A unit of this caliber and in this price range touted as 'Smart' should have a better browser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV I've had this TV a month now, and have been very happy with it. I came from an older model Viera Plasma that has an amazing picture (though at much lower resolution!), and the picture and color quality are fantastic, I'm very happy with the quality of this set. I couldn't find an email support line or FAQ to find out about software updates (my questions are pretty basic), but haven't had any need for a call-in line. Plugged it in, turned it on, and it worked. I tweaked the settings a bit for me (THX Cinema was very close), and haven't touched them since. Netflix and Amazon Instant are both fast and flawless, and my Blu Ray and 2012 Macbook have worked perfectly as well. The set also is beautiful, physically, and rock-solid stable. Not as flimsy as some other brands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panason - Simply the Best You know I've been around the block and purchased over 50 televisions in my life and I never feel better than when I buy a Panasonic product. Both for quality and reliability, I am always satisfied. This 4K Ultra HD product is no different. Top notch in every respect from its picture to its IQ. The picture is so perfectly realistic that we have been thinking of adding a safety railing in front of the set just so we can feel a little safer from our couch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow the new 4K! This is my first 4K TV. I have own Panasonic TVs for a while now and this one is impressive. The technology is amazing and the picture unbeatable, sad to think back about how happy I was with 720, almost hurts my eyes compared to this one! Tons of features with the Smart TV and with this Panasonic has won me over once again! 5stars for sure!

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
