Reviews

TC-60CX650U is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent TV The overall quality of this TV is better than any other TV on the market. I was able to setup the TV in just a few minutes and the interface and controls are very easy to use. I really enjoy the Mozilla Internet Browser for surfing the web and you can choose from many different kinds of TV apps for added viewing options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best TV Ever My first TV was a 9" B&W round CRT with a rabbit ear antenna. This TV is light years ahead of that one. The picture quality is superior. It is better than going to the cinema. The only drawback is the lip sync lag. I overcame it by coupling the analog audio output on my cable box to an analog audio amp. I recommend the TV CPU be augmented with a feature that would allow manual adjustment of the video - audio lag to overcome the lip sync problem. From what I see, this problem is universal to all brands. Overall, this is the best TV I have ever had. Panasonic makes a very high quality TV.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV, where's the content? It is my own fault for not doing the appropriate due diligence. I became so enamoured with the new 4K picture quality, that I never thought to look for 4K service........there is none, yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value, but noticeable vertical banding. Great packaging, beautiful picture, love the Firefox OS. But there's highly visible vertical banding on uniform pictures (e.g. in a desert scene with a lot of sand, or a solid colored wall in a movie). Not really noticeable in ~90% of scenes but moderately distracting in the other 10%. Haven't found backlight settings that properly deal with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TC-60CX650U I have had this product for a week so far and the picture is fantastic. Set up was very easy, 10 minutes. Delivery was great, driver was very helpful with installing TV on my stand. I haven't tried any apps yet but so far extremely satisfied with the TV. Great price compared with other brands on the market.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
