Swipe & Share 2.0

With Swipe & Share 2.0, it’s easier than ever to transfer your favorite content from your smartphone or tablet to your big screen TV to enjoy with family and friends. Just a simple swipe of a finger and your photos, videos or music are transmitted wirelessly from your mobile device to your Smart VIERA HDTV. You can also swipe TV content ‘back’ to your mobile device, making it quick and easy to add new content and take it with you wherever you go.

VIERA remote 2

VIERA remote 2 is a free app, available for download from any iOS or Android app store, that lets you use your smartphone or tablet device as a remote control for the TV, allowing you to not only change channels, inputs and adjust volume, but also adjust settings. It also lets you use your mobile device as a second screen to view personal videos or pictures loaded to the TV via USB port. Now you can share content with friends and family on your mobile device, even while broadcast programming continues to play on the big screen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wireless Commercials Too many options in customizing end users viewing experience. Big problem is that end user is subjected to a commercial message for various products each time you power up the tv. I already paid for the tv. I should not need to continue paying by needing to view a commercial message upon power-up. August 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 week new So far so good. Picture quality is certainly there and looks full in the slim design. I tend to change the settings for watching movies vs regular tv. The custom setting gives that ultra realistic look that makes show look like a soap opera or documentary which is more vivid for regualr shows but I don't like it for movies. I have two options for muted color contrast for movies. I'm glad to ahve the choice. Remote is easy to use so far. Not sure about sound yet but don't expect much from any HDTV.
