Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good picture but annoying small gray smudge. Good picture but it did take a while to get it tweaked just right. However, there is fingerprint sized grey smudge under the screen that cannot be removed. It's NOT a fingerprint, just the size of one and you can only see it on white screens. Still, it's there and annoying, just not worth packing the thing up and returning it for. Otherwise it's a good--not plasma good but good--picture and the 3D is fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice TV For The Price I have owned this TV for about 6 months. The picture is sharp and clear. I use it as a computer monitor so I can be productive when working. You can never have too much monitor real estate when working with data. The only draw back the TV has; I wish the TV program guide would have the title of the show that is playing. It just shows the channel and not what is playing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful technological wonder This AS650 Series 3D Smart HDTV is sleek, with barely any bezel, giving it an outstanding edge-to-edge screen. Additionally, this HDTV - unlike a few other ones I have used - actually is smart, with an interface that is easy to understand and use. With a high resolution and viewing that is easy on the eyes, it's getting more difficult to go back to my 24" computer monitor after using this 55" beautiful technological wonder!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV, 3D is alright Overall, the TV is great. Its well built, functions well, and has a great picture. The Viera features could use a bit of work. The apps on it are great, but the rest of the "Smart TV" is mediocre at best. In my opinion, Chromecast is a better alternative than the Smart TV interface. One annoying thing is the inability to watch the video from the apps in 3D unless the app specifically triggers it. I would like to watch some Netflix shows in 3D but the 2D->3D conversion does not work. Instead, I have to connect my PC via HDMI and play Netflix through that to get it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money We are satisfied with the overall performance. May be future smart TV models can be made to work with one larger remote control, instead of two, and preferably with a miniature keyboard, making the internet surfing more comfortable.

FAQs
  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click Here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, please consider having the TV serviced. Click Here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I can access all of the TV apps except Netflix?
    1. Change the DNS setting of your TV to 8.8.8.8.
    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
