Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase/Bad product Bougth tv just a month an ten days ago and the screen now has a 6" blank line going thru the hole tv screen in the center of it,they say it has a bad board in it..pretty bad product if you ask me when it breaks in the first month. Had an old projection screen lasted 13 years. Go to new tecnology and breaks that soon must be built to break now these days. Glad i didn't pay more than i did!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly good deal I was very surprised with how inexpensive this model was. It's an exceptionally good deal. The picture is fantastic, sound is great. However, it is not a plug and play kind of device. The factory settings are not set up for the best experience. The first thing you should do is switch from standard to cinema display when you buy this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from plasma is for realism. best price for size. they may have reduced the resolution from 1300 to 1024 horizontally, but in custom mode with the sharpness cranked high, you can barely tell any loss of detail because the vertical resolution is the same. plasma may be old tech compared to led, but the picture quality is superb- as good as the best screens out there. no, they are not as bright as lcd screens and the 720p panel has the gridline look up close, but plasma looks more realistic and has had as good as 120hz motion blur resistance like lcd. the colors may be off, but when you look for realism and an overall superb 3d (not 3d glasses) picture, plasma is still king. my 1080p 4 year old bravia is still bright and contrasty, but the old 60hz looks jittery even on david letterman. to tell the truth, bigger is better- id rather watch on a bigger screen. even with 1080i, at 10 feet, this plasma looks fabulous. for the price, there is no better tv and i dont think you can better a better tv for under 1000 dollars. 4 years ago, spending 2k on a tv was ok, but not in this economy. the good thing- you,re not losing a thing from this plasma set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value, awesome picture & sound At first i thought i bought a lemon, i had done alot of research for a tv and thought i had bought a good one. When we got it set up the color was horid, all lime greens and muddy green. we tried for a couple hours to adjust it out without any luck. We contacted customer support and within minutes we had a fantastic picture. It was not the tv, it was our cable box, just by chance when we went to move the box and check the connections the color was where it should be just by moving the cable box. We had a defective cable box. Since then we have had nothing but the best enjoyment out of the set. Watching channels in HD is like being there. And the regular channels are crisper and clearer. Blue-ray movies are fantastic and regular dvd's quality is enhanced 3 fold. The sound is great with many listening level adjustments. The whole set is very user friendly We shopped around many sites and stores before buying and costco had the best buy and an additional year warrenty at no charge. All in all we saved over a $190 by going with costco wholesale. I am more than pleased and have always trusted Panasonic products for many years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very basic picture control. Best bang for your dollar however the blues and greens are overly exposed. Green is closer to neon green. The problem is the provide picture control is very limited and can not fix this problem unless you go into the service menu or have it professionally calibrated. The price point should be based on the features not the "Picture Quality".

  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
    If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

    Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I get audio but no picture from an external device connected to my TV?
    • Try unplugging the cable between the TV and the external device and reconnecting it firmly on both sides.
    • Try unplugging the power cord of the external device for 30 seconds.
    • Try connecting another external device to the same input using the same cable.
    • If the picture returns on the second device, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the first external device you had connected for further troubleshooting.
    • Try using a different cable between your device and the TV using the same input of your TV. If you get a picture and audio, you may need to replace your cable.
    • Try another input of the TV to verify if there is an issue with the TV input the external device was connected to.
  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
    Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
