Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Purchase Ever Had this television for 2 1/2 years. Had repaired twice for the same issue "8 blinking lights". This has now happened for the third time. Will not be repairing. Chances are that it will continue to "break" every year or so. Taking it to the dump. I guess we got a lemon. However, we won't be purchasing another Panasonic ever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought three of these and all of them are poor We have three of these TVs and all three behave identically. The screens flicker horribly, especially when the image has a lot of blue. I have adjusted all the settings and it doesn't make difference. They also emit so much electronic interference that you can't really have any audio gear within twenty feet of them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TV Just Stopped Working I only had this TV for 6 months and it just stopped working. Power light blinks 8 times. I will never purchase another Panasonic TV. I put a call into Costco and they had me reset the TV electronics. This did not help. I now have to call back before 9pm in order to get help from Panasonic. I will be setting up a service call and will report back after the service call.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Opinion This tv has great picture and I picked it up at a great price. It doesn't have many bells and whistles but that's ok because my blu-ray player has wifi with a bunch of apps.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality and Service This television performed well for about 5 months. We started hearing a loud buzz coming from inside the case. A few days later the tv shut itself down and would not turn on. The power light began flashing 8 times. This is obviously a common occurrence with this TV as it is addressed in the frequently asked questions. I scheduled a service call. The service people came out ahead of schedule, but had to haul my tv off to the shop. It's been 12 days and I still don't have my TV. Apparently one of the parts is on backorder. Meanwhile I've been almost 3 weeks without a tv. My two kids paid for 30 days of xbox live 1 week before this went out. It has now expired. I'm not happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic AKA Plasma King Beautiful picture! I wasn't prepared for the difference from Panasonic 720p Plasma that I also own; which, btw, is no slouch by any means. Blacks are deeper; shades of grey are more accurately detailed; colors are more natural. I almost decided on LED Panny @ 55 inches, but have absolutely no regrets on this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True Panasonic Once I learned about disabling C.A.T.S. I breathed a bit easier...could not figure out why the picture kept dimming.... Great TV!

  • What should I do if my TV will not turn on and the power indicator LED is not flashing?
    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.
    2. Unplug all cables.
    3. Power the TV using a different power outlet (do not use a power strip or surge protector).

If the problem persists, consider having the TV serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.

Note: Count how many times the LED light blinks. This can help a technician troubleshoot the problem.
  • What should I do if I get audio but no picture from an external device connected to my TV?
    • Try unplugging the cable between the TV and the external device and reconnecting it firmly on both sides.
    • Try unplugging the power cord of the external device for 30 seconds.
    • Try connecting another external device to the same input using the same cable.
    • If the picture returns on the second device, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the first external device you had connected for further troubleshooting.
    • Try using a different cable between your device and the TV using the same input of your TV. If you get a picture and audio, you may need to replace your cable.
    • Try another input of the TV to verify if there is an issue with the TV input the external device was connected to.
  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
