TC-50LE64 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely User Friendly This TV was far more user friendly to set up and learn to use than others I had tried. It hooked up to my router in one try. I was able to learn different features in "baby steps" since I am not used to such performance. On-screen help is very clear. The picture is simply outstanding, and the adjustments that are available are more than I can ever anticipate needing. The quality of the set's hardware plainly exceeded that of even other top rated brands I tried. I can't imagine what more one would want today in a 50 inch TV. This is a very satisfying investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with my purchase Purchased this on sale and opted for the extended warranty. After initially using it on the stand provided, I decided to install on on our wall which worked easily with the generic brand of bracket we bought. The TV is light and thin. The picture is very clear with great colors. I was able to make adjustments to my liking (VIVID setting) which I think uses more power but makes everything from live TV to sports to movies all come out very nicely. The sound from the TV speakers was just okay so we purchased an additional Panasonic soundbar which helped immensely. Setup with our wireless network was simply and streaming content from Netflix and Amazon has been seamless, though we have less streaming issues using the wired LAN instead of wireless (which is not the TV's issue but our own wireless network). The Home screen is useful and I've yet to customize it. The remote control seems a little slow in reacting to the LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN arrows and I'm going to try the Smart Viera 2 app on my Iphone to see if that is any better. The TV's picture is good both in dark and bright rooms, with normal levels of reflections expected from an LED. I am very happy with my purchase after 3 weeks and hope to have this TV for a long time.

    Follow these troubleshooting steps:
    • Make sure your TV's power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
    • Make sure the electrical outlet the TV is plugged into has power by testing known working device in that outlet.
    • After verifying the TV is plugged into a working outlet, try pressing the [POWER] button on the TV instead of the TV remote.
If the outlet is working and the TV will not turn on after pressing the [POWER] button on the TV, please consider having the unit serviced. Click here for Panasonic Service Locator.
  • What should I do if the front Power indicator LED light is blinking?
    1. Unplug the TV's power cord.

    2. If you are able to access the Netflix splash screen, use the TV remote to deactivate your account by pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. After this process, try loggin back into the Netflix TV app.

If the procedure is successful a screen will come up with the option to deactivate your device from your account. If not try the process again. Once you have successfully deactivated your device, you will need to activate it by opening Netflix and at the main screen selecting Member Sign In, then following the on screen prompts until activation is complete.

If the Netflix app still fails to open, but all of the other TV apps work, visit help.netflix.com for more support.

  • What should I do if I have bars displaying on the TV screen?
Change the format (aspect ratio) of the picture by pressing the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the TV's remote control. If you still have bars, check the aspect settings on your external video source, such as Cable/Satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray Disc player, etc. Note: Some content, such as film-based movies, are available in extra-wide format. Top and bottom bars are unavoidable.
