Reviews

SC-BTT350 is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it I was looking for something inexpensive to improve the sound from my TV. I didn't read the specs very well- and didn't realize how small the speakers were. I was VERY skeptical how they would sound okay being so small. They do- I was wrong- totally worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from X-tremely Happy!!! I bought this to go w/ my 50" inch Panasonic Viera plasma 3d tv, and am extremely happy. It was extremely easy to set up, fair price, and great sound. I'll be buying Panasonic products in the future

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sound at Low Cost Reading reviews is interesting but you have to hear the system. The sound is what matters. That is difficult because most retail stores do not have the system connected and in an area where it can be properly heard. I did hear the system and was IMPRESSED. Once set up and operating I found the system met my expectations. If you want a complete system this is the way to go. Everything is designed to work together. Complaints from others about the wiring, connectors, and inadequate instruction manual are accurate. Telephone technical help for setup is better than merely competent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Speakers sound tinny Purchased this unit for the 3D features, BluRay and surround sound. The in-store display was in a small area and sounded splendid. Once we got it home the speakers sounded tinny and we had to crank the volume way up to get a decent playback. The Speaker wires are tiny and way too short to reach in a 12X15 room. The speaker wires also have a molded, color coded plugs preventing you from using decent wires for the speakers. I already have wires in place to use with the speakers and had to cut the plugs off and solder them to my existing wires so I could hook up the speakers. The speakers themselves are 3 ohm and the power output is calculated using RMS indicating 1000 watts. True output is only about 400 watts. In retrospect, I would purchase a different system given the same circumstances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from read carefully You have to spend another $100 to get the wireless adapter in order to make the rear speakers wireless. I'll let you know how the system performs once I have it up an running.

FAQs
  • What do I do in the unit has no power?
If the unit is not powering on, remove the power cord plug from any power strip it may be connected to and plug directly into the wall outlet.
  • How do I connect a Panasonic home theater system to my TV?
Panasonic recommends that you use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output of your Blu-ray disc player to the HDMI input on your TV. Then place your TV on the correct HDMI input using your TV remote control.
  • How do I activate my Netflix account?
Start by pressing the Netflix button on your remote or select the App showing on screen. If you do not already have an existing Netflix account you'll see an option on Netflix screen offering a free month. "Start your Free Month" should already be highlighted. Navigate to the form and Click [OK] and fill out the information as required on the screen.
  • How do I use the ARC feature with my home theater system?
ARC is an abbreviation for Audio Return Channel. To use this feature the HDMI cable you are using must be compliant to HDMI v1.3 spec or later. Older cables may not work correctly.

VIERA Link can work with either the HDMI- ARC feature of a compatible TV.
For ARC usage make sure that the systems HDMI ARC port is connected to the TVs ARC port.

    1. Press [HOME].
    2. Select "Others" icon and press [OK].
    3. Select "Setup" and press [OK].
    4. Select "Audio" and press [OK].
    5. Select "TV Audio Input" and press [OK]. Then select the "ARC" option.

Afterwards the TV's ARC feature will control the home theater system and the sound from the TV will be heard through the systems speakers.
