Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from excellent! I didn't realize how great that they really sounded until I had to put my 70's vintage stereo receiver in for repairs and had to use my portable cd and tape player!!! Blew me away that they would sound this good with portable devices so next was my ipod same results just amazing sound at a low volume on All of my devices!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good Equip for DJ I have been a VJ for 20 years and gone through some headphones. I recently bought this pair and find the sound is extremely good. I really like the noise suppression from outside sounds even with a monitor right above my head I can hear inside the cups clearly. The cups are very comfortable and I have been using them a month now and no show of wear so far. I don't have a complaint but just something I need to work with. The one cup that "turns out" so I can have them on my head and listen to what I am cueing and the monitor at the same time is a little tight. Wish it was just a little looser as I am concentrating on video, sound, and lights at the same time and don't need to worry about the headphones being so tight on my head. But they don't move around on me and the tightness may be the reason. Of course the fact that I had my old headphones for 10 years may have made me used to the fit of a different brand. I didn't pay near the price that is listed here but the sound alone is most impressive and would make me consider these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from DJ'ing for 20 years and these are unbeatable... Over the last 20 years of busy DJ'ing I have had 6 pairs of headphones. Two of them were the RP-DH1200 and they have been the longest lasting and just about best performing cans I've ever had (1st pair lasted a full 4 years before they broke when I lent them to someone at the club that forgot theirs, my 2nd pair are still going strong). There is only one other brand/model (which will remain nameless for this review) of headphone I like this much or lasted this long and they cost 3x what I paid for these. The 1200's are very comfortable whether you wear them around your neck and tilt your head to cue, or leave them on your head the whole night. The cups are the perfect size and feel great. Also you can easily buy authentic replacements for cheap after a few years of heavy use if you need to. The headband is nice, they have a removable coiled cord with a right angle connector (ideal for the vast majority of mixers out there) as well. The price currently showing on this site is way more than I paid for either pair of mine, that is about the only complaint I'd have IF I paid that much for mine. But I didn't so I really have no complaints...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Yesterday was the second time I was working with these headphones. Sound and noise insulation in the Dj booth is great. Quality on lows is perfect when it's needed ( when working with equalizer on the mixer), more over mids and hight are noticeable and pleasantly strong. My only negatives about these headphones is that they are a bit heavy. And sometimes they kept me changing their position on my head. One little thing is that my hair cut is short and my head is sweaty sometimes(working not sanding around), headphones kept sliding from most comfy position. My overall grade is 4+ out of 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Ageless, timeless masterpiece I started using these headphones (professionally) years ago, and for some reason that I don't recall, stopped. About a month ago I got back into them...I can't believe i ever switched. Professionally these are amazing. The sound quality is top notch! I'm using a Serato Rane mixer and they talk to each other beautifully. With each adjustment the headphones follow suite. The only thing for me thats not perfect is the actual headpiece. I have a small head and they tend to slip often. I put in extra padding of my own, but it forces the set to be a bit snug in certain areas. Other than that these are by far the most bang for your buck!
