Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Worst microwave I ever had, in my 49years of livin I am so sick of you big companies coming out with new models every year without improving on the ones you got consumers buying off the shelf. this is the third microwave I have bought the first lasted a long time, it gave me a good run for my money, but I won't even go into detail about the second one, whereas I am swearing off cursing like a sailor. So I thought I was purchasing the best from you (PANASONIC), paid top dollar for it and now It's just a big paper weight, I did not get an extended warranty didn't think I had to, we don't cook in the thing , it was used only to warm food or pop popcorn. So it never reached it's so called "POTENTIAL" I am no longer able to work I have a special needs child, so my money is very limited I do not want a pity party but my life is complicated enough, didn't need your product to add to my problems!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not Worth It This microwave was less than 4 years old and now is on the way out. The turntable turns when the microwave is off and door open. Also, it keeps tripping the breaker.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Poor interlock design. After approx. a year of use I started having problems with the interlock system. Turntable would spin when the door was opened, had to slam the door to get the oven to function. Disassembled the unit and found that two of the three interlock micro switches had failed mechanically. I managed to find two switches and replaced same, unit operated normally for 8 months before failing again. The third switch has failed. The basic oven works fine when the interlocks are functioning but the whole interlock mechanism is not robust enough to stand up to repeated use and replacement parts are not available to the general public.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Short Lifespan The door has always been very tough to close (almost have to slam it in order to close it.). Recently, upon opening the microwave the glass plate would spin on its own when the door was opened, and stop spinning when the door was closed. Then the microwave stopped working - enter cook time, press start, light comes on, nothing happens and microwave audibly "clicks" and shuts off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from We have not had this Panasonic NN-SN960S for long We bought this microwave from Sam's Club. Recently the rotating plate began to spin when the door was open. After a week of that it has quit working at all. This is the second Panasonic microwave we have had that had a short life, I guess their quality is decreasing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Died after 1 year We bought this unit from Sam's club. After one year of lite use, the plate started spinning on its own when the door was opened. Then it just stopped working all together. You close the door, the light stays on and it will not function. I read that others having the same problem.
