Reviews

NN-SN733W is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product initially Right out of the box we love the microwave, but previous experience with similar Panasonic microwaves have not been good. This is the fourth one of this configuration that we have bought that seem almost identical. The most recent one was an NN-H765 which is still being sold. On all three of the previous ones, the door interlock failed after a few years. I fixed one myself, but it seemed cheaper and safer to just replace them like any other throw away product. I keep hoping that Panasonic has changed the design or quality of the door interlock switch mechanism so that it will last more than four years. My first not Panasonic last all most 30 years but the company has gone out of business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT MICROWAVE I had a Panasonic for over 8 years. I used it daily to cook meals as well at reheating. There was never a problem until the day it suddenly died recently. I could not find anything like it locally, so I went online at Panasonic. I was delighted to find a similar one. I have had no problems so far and don't expect to. Panasonic is a quality microwave. This one is 2" lower and 2" shorter than my other one but it does the same job and takes up less counter space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Microwave I have only had this micro for a couple of weeks but am extremely happy with my purchase. It does everything Panasonic says it will do. The Turbo Inverter Defrost feature far exceeded my expectations...defrosts food without cooking the edges. All the other features are great too! I bought this micro at the Panasonic web site and it was, at the very least, $50 less than anywhere else on the internet, plus I got free shipping which most sites did not offer. Thanks Panasonic for making such a superior product. I am well pleased!

  • What should I check if my microwave stops working?
Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the outlet to see if it has been tripped or blown. Check other outlets to see if there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet that is on the same circuit as the outlet used for the unit and see if it needs to be reset. Connect the oven to another outlet to see if unit is still operational. If the unit is still not working, please contact a local authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair.

  • What should I do if my microwave display is not working?
Check to make sure unit is plugged into a working outlet by plugging in another device to determine if power is available at the receptacle.
If power is not available at the outlet check your fuse/circuit breaker, panel.

Note: Newer homes/buildings are generally wired with GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) receptacles, if your building is equipped with GFI receptacles be sure to check if the circuit breaker directly on the receptacle has been tripped and requires reset.

If you determine the outlet has power but the microwave still is not functioning, contact a local Panasonic authorized servicer for repair.

  • How do I remove the odor from inside the microwave?
Combine 1 to 1-1/2 cups (250 - 375 ml) water with the juice and peel of one lemon in a 2 quart microwave safe bowl. Heat contents on high for 5 min.(s). After water finishes boiling, wipe interior of oven with a cloth.

  • For some reason my microwave oven displays units of measure in grams instead of ounces. How do I change it back?
    1. Unplug the microwave oven for about 60 Seconds.
    2. Right after you plug the microwave back in, press the *start button (this will initiate/toggle the oven between grams and ounces.
    3. Choose the unit of measure.
*Note: Depending on the model microwave oven you may need to turn the dial instead of pressing the button to start.
