NN-SN661S is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working We've had this microwave for 2 years, and it worked very well--until it just stopped working. I would've expected a microwave that cost this much to have lasted longer, am very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We like the looks of the microwave, and it appears to be high quality, but we hate th programing. To select a power level you have to keep hitting the power level. This means that to select power level 1, you need to hit the power level button 9 times! Also there is no power level displayed during operation, and the power level can not be changed during operation. The turbo defrost cooked the meat I was trying to defrost, and the "inteligent sensor" does ni seem to working properly as reheated items get overcooked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Purchased for an 85 year old sight impaired person. Features are simple enough for her to use easily and it has all the necessary features.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problems after 6 months After only having this microwave for 6 months and using it to mostly warm up coffee, it's having 2 issues: 1) After warming up coffee for 2 minutes at power setting 10, it'll come out lukewarm and is starting to happen more often. 2) Sometimes I press the "start" button and nothing will happen, that too, is starting to happen more often. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than Expected The microwave is efficient, powerful and very easy to use. I especially like the defrost setting as it defrosts items without cooking them. I thought the door was going to be an issue, but it's a no brainer...don't slam it! Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I've used many different brands over the years and all have disappointed in one way or another except this one. I've had it for over a year now and it works flawlessly. Best microwave I've ever owned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad quality: Out of work after 15 months Bought it in May or June 2014 and it stopped work in August 2015.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK,Do not purchase I thought I would splurge and pay a little more for a nice looking microwave because I thought it would last for a while. WRONG. Do not spend your money on this microwave. I see someone else on here had the same issue with the door that I did. It started small, not opening correctly and then got to where I had to slam it shut several times just to get it to stay shut. I finally thought , I will fix this myself, but after purchasing a special tool to get the screws out, I found out that the piece( or pieces) for the door closure were all made of cheap plastic. The closure was loose and moving all over the place so I tried to tighten the screws that held it but part of it was not put together right. After trying for numerous times, the plastic pieces started breaking off. I wasn't rough or anything on the closure. Piece of JUNK!!! So now it sits on my curb waiting on the trash man to pick it up. I did not purchase another panasonic brand and may never again. I only had the microwave about 8 months, seems like that is a magic # from other posts on here. Very disappointed, money's tight for me and this microwave did not last at all.

  • What should I check if my microwave stops working?

Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the outlet to see if it has been tripped or blown. Check other outlets to see if there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet that is on the same circuit as the outlet used for the unit and see if it needs to be reset. Connect the oven to another outlet to see if unit is still operational. If the unit is still not working, please contact a local authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair.
