Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Poweful microwave I bought this microwave a few months ago. So far the microwave has worked well, it heats my food very fast. This microwave seems that it will last for a long time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good, while it lasted Purchased this not quite 2 years ago, and worked well. The defrost and reheat buttons are really convenient. When it started making a low buzz sound yesterday we were hoping it wasn't detrimental as we really like the features of this one, and don't want to have to get another microwave after such a short period of time. Alas, the buzzing got progressively louder, and it bit the dust. As much as I like the microwave while it lasted, going to steer away from Panasonic for the replacement. This is the shortest lifespan for any appliance I've had, or even that my parents have had for that matter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Worked Great Then Died This microwave worked great for two and a half years and then just stopped. No warnings, no errors, it just shut itself off and wouldn't start again. No display and no indication it was getting any power at all despite the fact it was plugged into a working outlet. Unfortunately I'll have to buy a new appliance because this one was used daily but is far past warranty. However, I don't think I will be buying another Panasonic product. On a side note to R&D: My previous microwave, a clunky little off-brand model, worked great for 15 years before giving up the ghost. If smaller companies can build dependable products like that, surely a Goliath like Panasonic can match them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great microwave! I have been using this microwave for over a year now and it is still running great! The Inverter technology cooks and reheats my food perfectly and evenly. This is also a very powerful microwave!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from lemon This is the worst piece of cooking equipment I have ever wasted money on, I would not recommend this to anyone. Purchased this microwave 3 weeks ago and it has been nothing but trouble and finally this week the door switch broke. STAY CLEAR OF THIS!!!!!1

What should I check if my microwave stops working?Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the outlet to see if it has been tripped or blown. Check other outlets to see if there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet that is on the same circuit as the outlet used for the unit and see if it needs to be reset. Connect the oven to another outlet to see if unit is still operational. If the unit is still not working, please contact a local authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair.

What should I do if my microwave display is not working?Check to make sure unit is plugged into a working outlet by plugging in another device to determine if power is available at the receptacle.
If power is not available at the outlet check your fuse/circuit breaker, panel.
Note: Newer homes/buildings are generally wired with GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) receptacles, if your building is equipped with GFI receptacles be sure to check if the circuit breaker directly on the receptacle has been tripped and requires reset.
If you determine the outlet has power but the microwave still is not functioning, contact a local Panasonic authorized servicer for repair.

For some reason my microwave oven displays units of measure in grams instead of ounces. How do I change it back?
- Unplug the microwave oven for about 60 Seconds.
- Right after you plug the microwave back in, press the *start button (this will initiate/toggle the oven between grams and ounces.
- Choose the unit of measure.
