NN-H965WF is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have loved this model Our microwave is 9 years old and has only now developed a problem. The only other issue we had was a blown fuse about 5 years ago. Now we are having a turntable that goes around when the door is open. Stops when the door is shut. Still heats and times well. Since our nearest recommended repair location is about 2 hours away, I guess I'll get a new one before this one dies. So dependent on it, I can hardly IMAGINE a day without it! This is our 3rd one in 30 years. I guess it's about time....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Awesome! I love this microwave! Did a lot of research before purchasing and there were some mixed reviews. I have not encountered a single negative in over 6 months of daily use. The sensor re-heat is the most useful for me. I have the full set of Systema microwave cookware and when I get home if it's leftovers I simply place in the container and hit the sensor re-heat. It can be adjusted for a little more or less heating depending on your preference. No need to set a time. Just walk away and let it do it's thing. How simple is that? Awesome! Same with the sensor cook. So far I primarily use for frozen foods. Vegetables especially. Same thing. Just set it and forget it....lol The 1250 watts of power is great. Don't forget to adjust any package times, as these are usually for an 1100 watt oven. Oh yeah, the popcorn setting actually adjusts by the size of the bag to be popped ( by ounces ). The overall size of the interior was a big reason for my purchase as well. I was tired of putting in a container and it would always get stuck on the walls of my old one and defeat the purpose of the rotating carousel. Now....no problem!! All in all this is one of the best investments I have made. Makes my life simpler and quicker. You can't go wrong with this oven.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality, No Support This microwave died just beyond the warranty period. The problem was with the door latch and switches. The door becomes hard to close, and the switches attached fail to function. Most of the negative reviews are for this problem, and the reviews go back 5 years or more. Other models display the same problem. In other words, Panasonic has known about this problem for years, and has failed to upgrade the design (s). Support for the product is non existent in my experience. There are no email contacts listed on the website.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not built to last We are on our third version of this microwave model we have purchased from Panasonic. The size and the features are what attracted us to this model and it works well, when it works. Our first model lasted about 2 years. It just died - don't know reason. The second one we bought lasted about 14 months. The door latch broke so we could't lose the door, and fortunately the unit cannot operate without the door being closed. So we decided to try again, thinking maybe we just had some random bad luck. We purchased out third unit 7 months ago and it just stopped working last week. It is still under warranty so perhaps we will luck out this time. I would recommend caution when thinking about purchasing a Panasonic microwave. it seems clear that their quality control is poor. But if you are comfortable with the notion of disposable microwaves, this could be the unit for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great microwave I just replaced a large sears model with this panasonic. It is more user friendly and actually runs at lower power, not just by turning the power off and on.. Do carefully review the dimensions when replacing as this one is about an ince deeper than my old one. I had to do a little clever carpentry to get it to fit on my shelf. It is sized well for most kitchen projects requiring a microwave. I have not yet tried all the features. Its a keeper.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great product while it lasted! Unfortunately it didn't last. Just short of two years it started making unusual noise then quit working. Code H97 showed in window. This apparently could be one of three different problems, all expensive to fix and not worth the effort. Have had really good luck with Panasonic in the past so this was very disappointing. Price of this model has increased substantially since I purchased mine, so I hope they've improved the durability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great features - TERRIBLY MADE! When we first purchased this microwave, the whole family loved it! Biggest & most powerful one we've ever owned. Lots of great features & popped the perfect bag of popcorn! Now, less than 2 years later, the plastic door latches won't catch, so that renders the microwave itself - unusable! I remember when microwaves lasted 10 years!! The Panasonic brand has always been a positive experience for me - phones, cameras, tv's, etc., but this microwave has been a HUGE disappointment!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice microwave, but one glaring omission I bought this model after extensive comparison shopping, because it comes in white (hard to find lately), has good features for the money, and the Inverter technology sounded like a good innovation. But I had it home less than 8 hours when Panasonic replied to my inquiry, telling me there is no trim kit available for it. Can't understand the seemingly random choice of Panasonic models that do and don't have trim kits, but without one this will sit in a gaping, ugly hole in the wall of my kitchen. So it goes back to Best Buy tomorrow and I'll look for another model and/or brand that has a trim kit.

  • What should I check if my microwave stops working?
Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the outlet to see if it has been tripped or blown. Check other outlets to see if there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet that is on the same circuit as the outlet used for the unit and see if it needs to be reset. Connect the oven to another outlet to see if unit is still operational. If the unit is still not working, please contact a local authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair.

  • What should I do if my microwave display is not working?
Check to make sure unit is plugged into a working outlet by plugging in another device to determine if power is available at the receptacle.
If power is not available at the outlet check your fuse/circuit breaker, panel.

Note: Newer homes/buildings are generally wired with GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) receptacles, if your building is equipped with GFI receptacles be sure to check if the circuit breaker directly on the receptacle has been tripped and requires reset.
