Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pet Friendly Bagless Upright Vac MC-UL 429 We have 2 English Bulldogs and even with giving them stuff to prevent shedding, they still do. By the end of the week we could basically "build" another dog! So, we went out to find a vacuum that is made for pets. Low & behold we found just the right one. It's the Panasonic Pet Friendly Bagless Upright Vac. MC-UL 429. So we have put it to very good use. Our house is NOW cleaner with a lot less work! It sucks up everything. We even use it directly on our "babies" too-they actually love it. We like the bagless feature. So easy to empty & clean out. We ALL agree it's the vac to have if youe have pets! Thank you Panasonic & keep up the great work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great suction - Lots of Flaws Just purchased this vacuum 5 months ago and I am already about to loose my patience. First we have had several Panasonic brand vacuums and this is by far the worst we have seen. Machine provides great suction but the crevice tool constantly falls off the machine while cleaning ....I counted today and a total of 9 times the crevice tool has fallen off....poor design there. Also now the cord reel no longer works correctly. Myself not being a fan of auto cord reels, I gave this one the benefit of doubt to be let down. It no longer winds up and I spend more time messing with it than the machine is ran. BTW (3) 8X10 area rugs that's all because bare floor cleaning is horrible on this machine. I am not able to vacuum one rug due to no height adjustment....says automatic but must not work cause u cant move the machine on the rug. Ridiculous! Panasonic you have let us down for the first time!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love Hate I Love the way this Vacuum works however not a fan of unloading the dust from the bin. Love the retractable cord too saves me time and keeps the cord from never twirling about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much better than a Hover I Had a hover for 3 years and died. I thought i would try the Panasonic vacuum cleaner. Wow I could not believe how much dirt and dust it picked up canister was full and carpet looked like new. I had vacuumed a day before. Panasonic has won me over!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Animal lovers: DO NOT BUY I have more dogs than most folks, but I do not feel like I am asking too much of a vaccuum to expect the dust bin to empty without having to be dismantled to be emptied. I also dont want to handle the contents every time i dump it. This vaccuum FAILS on any reasonable expectation of ease in dust bin emptying. The suction on this vaccuum is adequate for the price, but the flaws in the dust bin far outweigh any good attributes. KEEP LOOKING
