Rated 2 out of 5 by from Panasonic MC-CL935 Jetforce Have this cannister vacuum cleaner for 2.5 years now. The suction power is pretty good. Some items I don't like: - vaccum cleaners doesn't hold very much dirt, needs very frequent empty-ing (every week) - Needs regular disassembly to remove hair from the suction cones, once you figure out how to disassemle it it takes about 45 min (every 3 months) - the suction mouth is very heavy and takes a lot of energy to operate - after 2.5 years the electrical connection between the suction mouth and the pupe wears out, causing the brush to work intermittantly and ultimately melts the connectors due to poor conductivity. Need to replace vacuum cleaner at this point. - lower filter tray keeps falling out, retainer clup deform over time. All in all not great, wouldn't recommend due to quality issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I chose this vacuum after reading positive reviews about it from online sources like Consumer Reports. I am not disappointed. I wanted a great vacuum that produces as little waste as possible (as far as bags and filters go) and the MCL-935 fits that bill. The container is bagless and the primary filter is washable -- I just have to swap out the HEPA filter every so often. It works well on hard surfaces and carpet and has a few attachments that are easy to use. As we have two cats, I especially like the Pet Turbine Brush. I find that it works very well. I look forward to keeping this vacuum for a long, long time to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would Buy Again I'm pleased with the vacuum. It is quieter than I ever expected and does a pretty thorough job. (Having said that, I don't own an animal and have no "pet hair" issues, so can't address those concerns.) The machine does a fine job on floors/vinyl and a better than adequate job on carpeting. I'm pleased with the Panasonic vacuum, but have a couple of suggestions. First, the power head should be re-engineered to swivel more freely to maneuver in tight spaces. Second, the attachment for carpeted stairs makes a lot of noise, but isn't very effective.

  • Why is there no more suction from my vacuum?
    Check the following:
    1. Ensure that the dust bin is not clogged or full. If so clear the clogged area or empty the bin.
    2. Check the hose for damage or holes. Replace the hose if needed.
    3. Ensure that the hose is inserted fully.
    4. Ensure that the filters are clean.
  • Why did my agitator brush stop spinning in my vacuum?
    Ensure that the belt is not broken. If the belt is broken, replace it. If the belt is not broken and is installed correctly, the vacuum would require servicing. You can locate the closest service center by clicking here.
  • Why does the vacuum become extremely hot and shut off after five minutes?
    1. Ensure that there are no clogged areas
    2. Change the filter
    3. Check the hose.
