Rated 5 out of 5 by from great clarity for hearing impaired I purchased this for my spouse who is a bit deaf especially on phones. This speakerphone really helps him hear much better. I have not yet convinced him to try it with earphones but I think this is a welcome feature. I use the speakerphone when I'm on the computer and having to talk to someone simultaneously. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Intercom Feature I purchased this product primarily because I wanted a corded telephone with the intercom feature. Over the years my wife and I have used external portable intercom systems in our home offices with poor results. This feature works great on the Panasonic KX-TS3282W. Although I was surprised to learn that this telephone did not include an announcement caller feature. This necessitated buying a separate digital answering system to connect to the Panasonic. It’s becoming very difficult to find a corded telephone that has the intercom feature as 98 percent of the products are cordless. I would certainly recommend purchasing this product if the intercom system is important.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent for the hearing-impaired I bought this phone based on a review (I believe it was at AMZN) by a person who had purchased the phone for his mother, who was having a hard time hearing a regular phone. I, too, am hearing impaired and wanted a dependable phone for my home office. I have found it to be extremely reliable. My callers seldom say they can't understand or hear me, or ask if I'm on a speakerphone. I am so happy with this phone that I am going to buy two more--one to replace our home phone, and one for MY mother!
