Reviews

KX-TGA931T is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 47.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT Phones Gee I am not sure other reviewers and I rec'd the same phones. We have 3 different family homes using these great phones. They are wonderful, sturdy, can't tell you how many many times I have dropped these phones and the speaker phone on EACH handset is awesome. Dial a number get a auto answer and be put on hold, set the phone down or hook it to your shirt and go about your business until they answer. We have used these phones for 7 years and not had a single problem with any of the 18 handsets (between my dad's house, my house and my sister's house). I can't imagine where the poor reviews come from other than operator error.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a Great phone We've had these phones for several years. They are great. I have seen some of the things other people are complaining about, but if you keep the phones charged they work great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible device This is the worst cordless phone you would ever buy: shuts off in the middle of a call, unpredictable battery life (a full battery lasts half a day & a one third batter lasts 2 days!), impossible to check messages remotely, hard to push buttons (terribly painful to a person with arthritis).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good phone, Do not purchase I normally do not write any reviews but I had to look up the phone to see if I was the only one having problems with the phone shutting off in the middle of the calls (embarassing), Can't link to base messages. I thought panasonic was better than this but I guess this is the same as any other out there. I do not think I will buy a panasonic phone again. Really, really a disappointment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Consumer Reports would have a fit! I'm having to re-post this as Panasonic's web page crashed when I tried to submit it the first time. Kind of like it's designed to sabotage negative reviews. I normally wouldn't bother doing it again, but people need to be warned about this defective product. Save your money!! Buy something else. I've had the phones -purchased thru Amazon.com- for about two years. They worked well for about a year and then started having many of the same symptoms mentioned by others: the phones indicate they are fully charged, but when you go to answer a call or use the speakerphone, they cut out, lose their connection to the base unit, & then indicate that a 7 hour charge is needed!!! UNACCEPTABLE. The phones weren't cheap - they shouldn't be having these problems. I live in Mexico and had thought that the battery/charging problems were related to the often very high voltage (over 132 volts) supplied by the power company here, so I started using voltage regulators, but then seeing the many, many complaints about the same problem from all over... well, clearly the problem lies elsewhere. The whole continent can't be suffering from a third world power supply. Either the design or manufacture is flawed; whatever the case, quality control has completely failed. Dollars to doughnuts it's the manufacturing. Something this common should have been caught, and it should now be re-called, but fat chance of that, heh? I have replaced the batteries more than once, and am now convinced that the telephones actually damage them in normal use. Based on experience at work where we have a number of older (6 yrs+) Panasonic cordless answering/phone systems, that are in constant use all day and treated like hockey pucks, I bought these, but the similarity ended at the word Panasonic on the handsets. I'm in the market to replace them, but I won't consider any Panasonic products. I've owned $6.00 cordless no-name phones that were more reliable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good as long as it works In less than 2 years, the phone started having problems. Whenever the speaker was activated, it would switch off and say "Cannot connect to base". This also happened off and on when also using the regular Talk, but not often as SP. On Features and Ease of use this Phone was good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed by Panasonic Same issues as others. Phone suddenly dead. then comes back to life. No link to base. NOT RELIABLE!!!!
