Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best I ever owned I'm 64 years old at my age you can imagine that I have own more than one type of home phones in my life. I have been in the military for 25 years and my family and I moved a few times. Our final move was in 1989 and since we switched types of phone twice and this Panasonic model kx-tga410 we've had for more than 10 years now. It is by far the best. I am handicaped and we needed a cordless phone system with answering machine and at least 4 handsets. Before this model we had another company phone system that was not strong enough because we would not have a strong enough signal and it was not good if we were near the outside pool (60 feet from base# but with this model the signal is strong and never had to move closer to the house to get a good communication. The contact is also good every where in the house and in the basement. We now have a garage that is not attached to the house#12 feet) and the handset works fine and the communication is clear even with the garage door closed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I've had 3 different Panasonic portable phones over the years. After this one, I'll never own another. I have 5 handsets that are all bad less than 1 year after the purchase. Even when they worked, the sound quality was terrible. Too bad Panasonic has sunk to the depths with this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This phone name announcer is not clear ,the phone is not a great quality phone as well as everything else about this phone too much scrolling to to do and everything must be set on the handset I just hate this phone I liked the older models better I thought technology was supposed to be much easy not complicating I really don't recommend this piece of trash to anyone

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a home phone... I have had this set of phones for over a year and have had ZERO problems. The speaker-phones work on all handsets, the caller ID, and the caller Announce work fine considering how it has to sound out names. Some come out weird, but that's to be expected. Bluetooth connect to cell phone works great too! Recently bought this extra station to add in the garage. Plugged it in, followed the instructions and it was up and running in a couple of minutes. My one complaint is you have to do a lot of scrolling to setup/use the features, as in: if you want to delete recent calls, you have to scroll through several screens each time to do so, or, just delete them ALL. Not a deal breaker, but it takes some time to sift through calls one by one. All In All, great value and great features.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Speakerphone does not last The speakerphone on these handsets stop working after several months. I had three handsets and after a year, on all three the speaker is no longer functioning. I am also disappointed that the panasonic products sold in major retail stores no longer have the headset jack, which is more reliable and allows for a private, hands free conversation.
