Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really good, but... I agree with the other reviews that the batteries are scarce, but Radio Shack does carry a generic version. My only problem is that the LCD contrast no longer functions on an otherwise perfectly good handset. This is frustrating when trying to answer or make a call from your bedroom in an emergency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These phones have been great! We had 5 including the base unit for over 5 years I think. Four of them still work. The one that doesn't suprisingly plunged into the kitchen sink and held up for a week! The only down fall we have is we are having trouble finding replacement phones and batteries for what we want to pay. Guess it goes to show you get what you pay for! Our phone insurance company tried to help us, their phones do not compare!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handset KX-FPG381 Base review This is by far one of, if not the best system inclusive of the base that we have ever owned. I would recommend this sytem to anyone looking for a quality "Base phone/fax/intercom for thier home or small office. I have owned this system for over ten years and never had to do any thing except replace the handset batteries, and fax paper. I'm expanding the system at this time, because Panasonic "still supports" their systems to this date. Thats another reason I purchase their TV's and electronics whenever I need new or updated equiptment. I hope they can keep up the great work for years to come, because I am a life time customer! Thank you, Panasonic!!
