BLUETOOTH CONVERGENCE SOLUTION

Like using your cell phone at home but don't like carrying it around? Now you can make and receive cell phone calls though your multi-handset home phone with the Bluetooth-powered Panasonic Link-to-Cell. Link-to-Cell harnesses the power of Bluetooth to combine the freedom of your cell phone and the convenience of a home phone. By linking your cell phone to the Bluetooth-powered Panasonic Link-to-Cell, you can make or receive calls on all compatible Panasonic home phone handsets. Don't want to be without your cell phone's phonebook? No problem. With Link-to-Cell's Phonebook Transfer feature, you can transfer up to 600 names and numbers from your cell phone to the built-in handset directory via Bluetooth. Link-to-Cell also features Bluetooth headset connectivity so you can keep the conversation going and your hands free. Perfect for those times when you're talking but need to walk around your office or home, open drawers, flip through files or write.

DECT 6.0 PLUS

DECT Plus technology takes the superb sound quality and outstanding range of DECT 6.0 phones to a whole new level. By increasing the frequency of error correction by up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.

TALKING CALLER ID

Now you can hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up. Using text-to-speech technology. Panasonic phones featuring Talking Caller ID that announces caller ID information in between rings. What could be more convenient?

RANGE BOOST

Clarity even at extended range is a hallmark of Panasonic cordless phones. Our 2011 line-up features Range Boost technology; a built-in antenna to the base unit; that extends transmission range by up to 20% compared to previous generation phones, so you can keep talking as you keep walking.

POWER BACK-UP OPERATION (Handset)

What happens to your phone when theres a power outage? Nothing, with our 2011 models featuring Power Back-Up Operation. A powerful battery back-up system keeps you connected so when the power goes out. Keep a charged handset in the base unit and you can still make and receive calls with the other cordless handsets.

INTELLIGENT ECO MODE

This feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.

TONE EQUALIZER

Everyone hears differently. To maximize clarity or accommodate hearing loss, Panasonic added Call Tone Control to select 2011 models. This exclusive feature actually lets you control the bass, mid-range or treble tones in a caller's voice for maximum clarity.

SMART WALL MOUNT

Several models feature a sleek, low-profile base unit with a reversible pedestal. These models are ideal for kitchen use because they dont take up a lot of room on a desk or countertop, and they can be quickly and easily mounted to a wall by using the reverse side of the pedestal.

KX-TG7643M is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Choice I've only had this phone for a couple of weeks and so far am satisfied with my purchase. It was easy to set-up and get started. I am still learning how to use some of the features. I was told it would copy up to 600 numbers from my iphone 5. It actually copied over 800 and will accept up to 3,500. This exceded what I expected and am very glad. Unless the handset is in a well lite area some of the function keys are hard to read. They are not lite up well enough. If there is a message there is a flashing red light that alerts you. However, there is no tone so if I come home and don't look at the phone I don't know there is a message. So far those are the only drawbacks that I have found. The sound quality is excellent on incoming calls. When talking on a handset people tell me they can hear me really good except when talking on speaker phone from the base set. I'm told it sounds like I'm talking in a tunnel as most speaker phones do. I am glad I made this purchase as it is one of the best phones I have had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works With iPhone 5 Excellent phone. Contrary to previous review it works with iPhone 5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from iPhone 5 NOT supported I bought this when I had the iPhone 4 and it worked perfectly with that phone. However, It is NOT compatible with the iPhone 5 and, as such, is now completely useless to me. Perhaps my grandmother needs a new home phone system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Cordless Phone System Panasonic model KX-TG7543 is the best phone that we ever had. The sound is superb. The bluetooth feature is great, I don't have to worry about missing any calls on my cell phone when I am home because it connects to the Panasonic phone and I can answer the cell call on all the remote handsets. I was also able to download all my contacts from the my cell phone to Panasonic home phone, which saved a lot of time inputting all the phone numbers. The intercom feature is great because we can call family members throughout the house without shouting. Panasonic really put out a great product with a lot features that we can use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good phone with a critical flaw The voice quality on this phone is amazing. Also the link to cell feature is very good. However one critical feature seems to be missing is, speed dial. At least I can not figure out how to set speed dial on it and the product manual also does not say anything. To me this is a major flaw with this phone system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Is A New Day! I have been totally pleased with this purchase. I've had the unit a few days and am slowly learning all it can do. I keep the book handy so I can experience al of the features this unit has to offer. The price was a shocker especially with 3 handsets and Bluetooth. I highly recommend this unit. Until this point, I only used the brands available since the 60's. That quality has changed and the newer kids on the block, are making great products. I plan to expand this set and buy a two line set next.
