KX-TG4771B is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Panasonic Person Like the size of coded phone and handset. Just a little complicated to get the right features in place. A lot of reading and understanding for some of us seniors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This phone system meets our needs. We like the talking ID, voice sound quality, the good gripping to the counter, knowing when we have rec'd a voice mail, the ability to quickly redial a "missed call" number.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product... My research of the product was time well spent; easy too instal, useful features, and an excellent price. I should have bought an additional handset.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacks essential features The features included perform quite well. I love the feature that auto-senses and dials remote voice mail. However there are some frustrations that could have been avoided if the advertising was thorough. My biggest complaint is that the base phone lacks important features - you MUST use the remote phones to perform them: it can't add phone numbers to the directory, even a called number; it can't show a list of recently dialed numbers, only missed calls; it can't access remote voice mail. Also the display dims out and you can't turn it on without activating a function. I expected the base phone to have MORE features than the remote phones not the other way around. In addition accessing recently called numbers on a remote phone is not intuitive. And changing the setup requires using cryptic numeric codes rather than menus on the large base phone display. It's odd that Panasonic didn't mimic some of the convenience of cell phones when so much of the world is used to them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome telephone SYSTEM I bought the KX-TG4771B and my only mistake was not getting the double handset model as I love this phone, period. Large displays on both the base and handset make getting the reading glasses unnecessary. The whole feature package from Call Block, to Talking Caller ID, makes this phone so feature packed, they really had to resort to the use of # codes from the handset. If there was a button or menu item for each feature, you would be spending tons of time navigating menus. As it is, with the tons of features, they made it easy to set it and forget it. Finally...I control my calls, not the other way around. They missed the boat with one tiny thing...it would be nice if the large buttons on the base unit lit up like on the handset...making it easier to dial in dim lighting. The biggest plus by far...people are complaining that my Speakerphone booms like the voice of God...so I keep it off the maximum volume settings. The sound quality of this phone is second to none. This is truly a quality phone answering SYSTEM and if you are as picky as I am...look no further.
