Features

Panasonic's Power Back-up phone is designed to enable consumers to make receive phone calls with the cordless handsets in case of a power outage.

DECT 6.0 PLUS Dect Plus technology takes the superb sound quality and outstanding range of DECT 6.0 phones to a whole new level. By increasing the frequency of error correction by up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.

TALKING CALLER ID Now you can hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up. Using text-to-speech technology, Panasonic phones featuring Talking Caller ID announce caller ID information in between rings. What could be more convenient

1.8" WHITE BACKLIT HANDSET DISPLAY See who's calling at a glance on our wide, 1.8-inch LCD and set screen. Featuring black text against a white-backlit display, it's crystal clear and easy to read even from a short distance away.

LED LIGHT-UP INDICATOR Now, you can know when a call is coming in or if you have a message even if you are vacuuming or listening to music. A large, bright LED indicator on top of the handset lights up when you get a call or a message, so you will always be connected.

AMPLIFIED HANDSET WITH SIDE VOLUME KEY An improved, more powerful speaker lets you multi-task or take calls in a noisy household without missing a word. A dedicated key on the side of the handset makes adjusting the volume during a call a breeze.

INTELLIGENT ECO MODE This feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.

    • Why do I hear an echo on my handset?
This is normal. When you first use your phone, there may be a slight echo because the microphone is being calibrated. This will occur again if the base is disconnected from the power outlet, or after a power outage. If echo continues for several days try to reset the handset by removing the batteries from the unit for a few seconds.

If you have multiple handsets verify that you are getting echo, distortion or static on all handsets. Try to change the telephone cord that connects the base unit to the wall to resolve. Contact your Telephone Service Provider if all handsets are affected as the issue may with your telephone line.

If you have your telephone connected to your modem then you may experience static, echo or distortion. Contact your Telephone Service Provider for a DSL Filter. The DSL filter prevents interference between telephones and digital subscriber line (DSL) service connected to the same line.
