Expandable Digital Cordless Telephone with Answering System with 2 Handset

Features

DECT 6.0 Technology means less Interference

Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones wont conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mouses, microwave ovens and other household items. And because its digital, youll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.

Power Outage Operation

Enjoy the piece of mind that comes from knowing that should the power go out, you still can make and receive calls on the corded handset.

Call Block

Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phones Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls from them. After their information is stored, theyll get a busy signal if they call you again.

Silent Mode

Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it wont ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual.

Reviews

KX-TG1062M is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from didn't meet expectations Bought this phone so we'd have a land-line for emergencies and added a 3rd hanset. It works, but that's about all. Features and buttons are not as intuitive as other equipment we've had (have to look EVERYTHING up in the little book of directions). My biggest complaint is the volume of all of the handsets. I can barely hear the caller on the other end and I've got the volume set all the way up - that's annoying for everyone and makes the phone almost useless. Husband complained about this early on but now I'm upset with it too. Customer Service is a pain for resolving anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone We like the corded phone that will work in a blackout. And it also comes with 2 cordless phones . base unit in the livingroom and the cordless in both bedrooms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Head Set Jack Within one year of purchase, both the cordless sets head phone jacks stopped working. I use the jacks constantly to talk hands free. The best feature is the corded phone will work during a power outage. Loud ring tone, plenty of message room, the cordless sets will allow you screen calls, range is good (works almost everywhere in my two acre lot). Have had this phone for just over one year with no other problems. All in all, pleased with this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great phone Functions are nice and easy to use. Sound quality is crystal clear. Ring tones (musical) and volume controls are great. In fact I turn them to their lowest settings and can be heard throughout the house. Speaker phone is clear as I use this feature quite often. Everything you need is at your fingertips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this phone Needed to replace my old Panasonic wall mounted after 8+ years. Bought 2 other brands & immed. returned them. Got this one from Amazon and it is just perfect. Clarity is crystal clear, love the clock & date on the displays. This phone has met & exceeded all my expectations. Hope this one lasts as long as my other Panasonic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone Been using for a few weeks now and it works great. Sound quality and range are awesome. Haven't used the answering system as we don't need it. Not sure why other reviewers are saying it's hard to use.

  • Why do I hear a series of beeps before my dial tone?
If your dial tone is interrupted by several short gaps or beeps your phone company is indicating the arrival of a new voice mail message. It is the signal sent by your phone company to let users know that a message is waiting to be retrieved. If you are subscribed to a voice mail service from your provider this is normal.

  • Why does the phone display "Line in Use" or "Busy"?
Someone might be using the line. If you have multiple handsets, please check to see if the other handsets were properly hung up or in the charger. If you have already done this, and the error "Line in use" is still appearing on the phone, check any other phones are getting a dial tone.

If the problem persists, follow these procedure:
    1. Unplug your Panasonic phone both from the phone jack.
    2. Try relocating the telephone on a different phone jack inside the house.
    3. Try using a different line cord if you have any other available.
    4. Try using the phone at a friend or neighbors house.
