Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic ES-LV61-A I have had similar models to this razor like Norelco's & Braun. This razor is the BEST I have ever used. I also love the fact that I can clean it easily with sop & water and do not have to keep paying each month for cleaning fluids. This razor shave s faster and cleaner than any other razor I have used. I have no connections with Panasonic, this is just my own personal view. i did a lot of reviews & research before I purchased this razor. I thought it would do a good job, but it does a GREAT job. Think they wre getting ready to change models, so they had a close-out price of $149.99 which I thought was a very good value compared to other similar razors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Razor Bar None I'm that guy that has had just about every razor on the market and this razor is the best so far. My beard is so thick, when I go to the local Barber, he has to use about three straight razor blades to finish my shave. This Arc5 razor cuts so close and easily, by the end of the day, I still don't have a 5 O'Clock shadow. I would recommend the Arc5 models and pass on the cleaner. Just clean your razor in the sink after every shave and save your money on the auto cleaner. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing shaver It has been many years since I used an electric shaver, this one blows most that I have used out of the water. The next best thing would be a regular shaving blade. It gets close, and doesn't irritate the skin. I use this with electric pre shave, and Donald Trump Success after shave. Go and buy this shaver and you wont be disappointed.

After using the arc 5 for only a week, it's the closest, fastest most comfortable shave I've experienced. I changed from a rotary and had no irritation or chafing. I am very pleased so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've ever used I got an email offer to get this razor at half-price. I had a similar, lower-end model & liked it so I took the plunge & I'm glad I did. This is the only electric razor I've ever owned that pretty well shaves as close as a blade. I guess it has something to do with the 30 degree angle of the blades? Of course, technique is important as well - if I keep a VERY light touch & make several passes over each area I get fantastic results - the key is repetition, not more pressure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shaver...for now So far, so good. Definitely a step up in performance from my ES-LA63. That shaver was great, too. I would have kept it if the LCD hadn't failed. As so many have noted, these LCDs tend to fail leaving you without knowing how much charge is left. It usually happens after the warranty expires. My trusty LA-63 was replaced once but after that unit's LCD failed I was out of luck according to Panasonic customer service. I just hope that I can get a few years out of the LV-61.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Close Shave Replaced my 20 year old Norelco. Shaves close and smooth. Feels good in hand. Trimmer works well. Value only fair because of high price and, so far, (in breaking-in period) relatively short battery life between charges.

  • What could be keeping my shaver from charging?
    The shaver may not charge under the following circumstances:

    1) The recommended charging temperature of 50-95 °F (10-35 °C) not being met.
    2) The unit is already charged.
    3) The unit is being used for the first time or has not been used for last six months and it may take a while for charging to start.
  • What should I do if my product needs service?
    NOTE: This does not apply to TVs, Microwaves, Vacuums, and Massage Chairs.
