Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from great low cost streamer so i am late to the game on this unit seeing as how it is discontinued but i picked up a brand new unit on ebay for $34. already have a panasonic bd player with wi fi and have always gotten good service from panasonic products. i found this unit extremely easy to set up and use and picture quality is excellent. a lot of negative comments on here but speaking for myself i am very satisfied!!!!

I knew going in that Miracast is not neccessarily ready for prime time, but the DMP-MST60 worked for both our HTC ONE and Galaxy 4 phones. It took several tries and I turned the high band off on my dual band router as someone advised. Once it connected it was nearly flawless. Unlike many other products, this one comes with all cords etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love the idea. Disappointed with the execution. I love the idea behind this device. However, I find it to be difficult to navigate, which is very frustrating. After much fussing around, I was finally able to browse some of my favorite YouTube Channels, and the experience of having it on my TV screen vs. my laptop or tablet was awesome. Unfortunately, moving around youtube was again, frustrating and I eventually gave up and used my laptop again. It took a while to connect to Netflix (4 days in a row), but once it worked, I watched 3 movies in a row and I loved the convenience of that. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything convenient about this gadget. From setup to connecting to navigating, the process was stressful and daunting. The fact that an owner's manual doesn't come with the box and any info and assistance you need, you have to go on the web really annoyed me. If navigating the device was simpler, this would be pretty amazing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Does the job Out if the box, it was slim and sleek. It was easy to install and setup. This streaming media player has it's bright spots and not so bright spots. Let's start with interface. Navigating the menu was not intuitive. You think you would need to push the arrow key to highlight and then return to select, but all you need to do is pick a direction. less clicks is good but i had to go back a lot if I didn't choose correctly. The apps that are available are good. It has all the usual plus a few more. Some require certain additional hardware to use such as Miracast and universal remote function. You need a compatible tablet or phone for Miracast and a Panasonic TV to use the universal remote buttons. I like that you can customize the the menu and save it for each user. especially if each person using has different go to apps. I like that it has DLNA but it required me to manually enter the info for networked devices I wanted to connect with. I wished I could hook up a keyboard to have some kind on keyboard integrated to the remote to optimize web browsing and searching. It's great that there is a web browser app. I do like the remote. The size and button lay out is great and comfortable to use. The built in Wi-fi is a bonus and works well. Overall, this is a very capable device and is priced reasonably. It just did not meet my expectations but it is headed in the right direction.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Satisfactory product for the right expectations Basically this product does what it promises, and the price is right. It does a few things better than the competition, and has a few unexpected nice touches, such as the ability to use your own photo as a menu background, and the lightning fast photo slide show display. It falls short in a couple of areas, such as limited video file type/codec support and a few missing apps that I use a lot on other media players (such as Crackle, BBC News). But the basics all work fine, and it does quite well in normal operation. WiFi reception seems good, so I don't feel any need to use a wired connection. Connection to network DLNA servers and shared folders works fine. The core online services are there and work fine. The fact that it has only an HDMI output is problematic for many people, but the spec is clear about that. The user interface deserves some criticism, not so much because response is a bit sluggish in areas, but because it's so inconsistent. I also have to say that the menu color scheme is awful. I had a fair share of problems with the setup process for the apps which might be daunting to an inexperienced user, but it works smoothly enough once things are set up. People who haven't used any other competitive media players (or smart TV/Blu-Ray players) might have unrealistic expectations for these devices, but I would put the capability versus price of this player right in the middle of the competitors. There's cetainly nothing I would consider a major deficiency as long as you are ok with the single HDMI output.

What do I do if the unit has no power?If the unit is not powering on, remove the power cord plug from any power strip it may be connected to and plug directly into the wall outlet.
What should I do if my Blu-ray player freezes or locks-up?If your Blu-ray player is not responding then do as follows:
1. Unplug all cables and USB devices from the player.
2. Unplug the power, wait about 30 seconds then reconnect.
We recommend connecting the player (wired) to your network and attempt updating its Firmware again.
What can I do if I am have difficulties accessing Netflix?For Netflix related problems please do the following:
1. Connect your player to your Wired / Wireless network.2. Check to ensure that your player is set to your current "Time Zone". The wrong "Time Zone" may cause connectivity issues. To check the Time Zone, go to "Setup" -> "Player Settings" -> "Network" -> "Network Settings" -> "Network Service Settings" -> "Time Zone".3. Click the [Netflix] button on your players remote to launch the Netflix application. If Netflix does not load what is the error message displayed?4. If you experience an error in connection do the following: "Setup" -> "Player Settings" -> "Network" -> "Network Settings" -> "IP Address/DNS Settings" -> "DNS Auto Configuration". Change this setting from "On" to "Off" then change your "Primary DNS" to 126.96.36.199 and your "Secondary DNS" to 188.8.131.52.5. Check to see if other Apps are able to be accessed. If other Apps can be accessed and Netflix is the only App not loading, this may be a Netflix issue.
How do I activate my Netflix account?Start by pressing the Netflix button on your remote or select the App showing on screen. If you do not already have an existing Netflix account you'll see an option on Netflix screen offering a free month. "Start your Free Month" should already be highlighted. Navigate to the form and Click [OK] and fill out the information as required on the screen.
