Rated 5 out of 5 by from blu ray 3d player Love this player, it has the most bang for your buck . easy to set up and use. Covers all 3d formats ,which no other brands do . Works great with my Samsung dlp for 3d. The only con I notice is that the 2d to 3d up convert can't be used with the the 3d checker format. I would not be watching 3d if wasn't for Panasonics features. thankyou panasonic

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great unit Everything works as designed. I am hooked up to the router via hardware so I can't comment on the WiFi, but I question those that give this unit very low arks because it can't pick your Wifi if you aren't broadcasting? I've had items like that before, turn on SSID, connect, then turn it back what! Hulu and Netflix work great; Pandora works well but I don't care for the rotating screensaver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice if connecting to a Panasonic TV This player coupled with a compatible Panasonic TV, is very simple to use. You wave your hand over the unit, drop in the disc, wave your hand again and go sit down. The TV turns on and selects the correct input. When the player is ready the disc begins to play on the screen. There are also a few functions on the TV and Bluray remotes that will operate the opposite device. DVD's look great when played through this device. They look so much better now that some people cannot tell whether a Bluray or DVD is being played. As far as the setup goes with your home network, it is not difficult if you are familiar with the terms and you know how to setup other network devices. The wireless reception is good but please run a wired connection if it is possible. I find that wireless routers lose devices that are connected 24/7 so I have to reboot the router sometimes to find this unit and my wireless printer that are connected via my Netgear wireless router. Netfix streaming now offers 5.1 sound on some titles and this Panasonic unit is one of the few makes that is compatible with the improved audio from Netflix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I expected better product 1. Network support - can't find wireless network because SSID was not set for broadcasting. There is no way to setup network manualy. 2. DLNA support - does not work with share drives on network devices and Windows XP 3. DivX playback - can't play DivX files on US version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy WiFi setup I have only had this unit for a short time, but I have used it to play DVDs, connect to the internet and I will probably use it for rental movies, and free video sites, plus it does a good job of displaying photo slide-shows. I would like a web browsing function and a universal remote that can control power and volume on non Panasonic TVs. Overall, no major complaints and the WiFi setup could not have been easier. It immediately recognized my router and after inputting the security password everything was up and running. Very good video quality on standard DVD movies and HD. Purchased at Costco for a very good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Easy Picked this unit up from Costco. Got it home and set up was a breeze. First did the wifi setup to the router. Did the new firmware up date. Set up the hdmi audio, and 16.9 wide video. Wow done in 5min. Excellent unit for skype or 3D blu ray. Plus you get a free blu ray movie. I would recommend this to anyone looking to up grade. Wayne

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product except for Netflix....... I find this product excellent in every way except for the Netflix image quality. I can watch HULU movies in HD but with NETFLIX I get lots of image artifacts. It seems that it is caused by a lack of color depth. Images with lots of constrast are affected the most. When I watch the same material on my TV using my laptop the image is a lot better. I tested another brand media player with NETFLIX and the image was again a lot better than with this BD player. Besides this I would recommed this product to friends and family.

  • What do I do if the unit has no power?
If the unit is not powering on, remove the power cord plug from any power strip it may be connected to and plug directly into the wall outlet.
  • What should I do if my Blu-ray player freezes or locks-up?
If your Blu-ray player is not responding then do as follows:

    1. Unplug all cables and USB devices from the player.

We recommend connecting the player (wired) to your network and attempt updating its Firmware again.
  • What can I do if I am have difficulties accessing Netflix?
For Netflix related problems please do the following:

    1. Connect your player to your Wired / Wireless network.

If you do not already have an existing Netflix account you'll see an option on Netflix screen offering a free month. "Start your Free Month" should already be highlighted. Navigate to the form and Click [OK] and fill out the information as required on the screen.
