A stylish and simple menu design is achieved by using large menu icons and illustrations. Operation is also easier for the Blu-ray Disc™ player, which features a simple menu, thanks to its one-click action, you simply place the remote control cursor onto the menu item that you want to choose, and the menu proceeds smoothly to the next screen. It's easy, even for first-time users.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Buy, Mr. Freeze is Warmer This player had been with me for three years, but I had to replace it. It regularly froze while playing BDs or using the Netflix app. I called customer service within the warranty period only to get a factory reset as the solution. That never worked for longer than a week, no matter how many times I tried that. Only cutting the power would recover the unit. I thought its simplicity and functionality would have made it a solid Panasonic product, but I was wrong.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WASTE OF MONEY Poor performance, lock-ups. Very limited Apps - no Crackle, No Amazon. Could have done better with a $20 unit. These issue could probably be addressed through the upgrade firmware option, but it appears Panasonic doesn't want to make this product competitive, or at least worth the cost.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No wireless!!! This player can only be connected to the Internet via a LAN cable. A basic Internet feature in all devices now is called WIRELESS. How in the world would anyone be able to run a cable far enough to go from their wireless box to their TV, especially on upper floors? I don't get it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Surprising disappointment When it works, it produces great video both on DVD and Blu-Ray. The firmware issues, freezing, and very, very, very slow Network features (Netflix especially) make this a terror to use. I was expecting, at the very least, a functioning product even for an entry level blu-ray player from Panasonic. I'm a loyalist to the brand, but I don't think I'll ever buy another disc reader from Panasonic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another one stops working I think this thing played about a dozen movies before it died less than a year since I purchased it. The same issue other users had that I would have to unplug it once in a while to rest it. Well now that doesnt even work, it powers up and says HELLO on the unit and thats it.. I see it still under warranty but for parts only so I can only imagine I will end up paying for a new unit one way or another.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inexpensive and cheap This unit was inexpensive so I picked it up to use in my home office. As soon as I got home and installed it, I began to have problems. The main problem being that I CONSTANTLY have to unplug and plug back in the unit. I'm ok once I get a disc playing or once I get a show playing through Netflix, but if I change shows or turn the unit off and try to turn it back on, I'm taking my chances. I eventually had to place the unit where I can easily unplug/plug the unit in to reboot it. If I had to do it again, I would not buy this unit due to the inconvenience of it freezing up. I'm close to purchasing a new one and taking a sledge hammer to the one I have. Buyer beware!!
