DMP-BD60K is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from No netflix Player is average, but if you want to stream netflix think again. It does not support it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Panasonic This player is just OK. The picture is great just like all other BD players but like almost every Panasonic piece of equipment I own, it is either painfully slow loading (that's this model) or the user interface is clunky, programmed by someone who obviously operates far differently than me. If you don't care about how long it takes for the BD disc to load or that the user interface is irritating, then you have found a BD player that delivers a fine picture at a nice price. I do like the remote for the buttons although even that has issues like 3 different menu buttons and wording that is not generic with much of the industry. Panasonic, just not me but it might be for you. By the way, still no NetFlix?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Panasonic DMP-BD60 (No K) Netflix? What, no Netflix?? I was given tghe unit in 2009 as a Christmas gift and have enjoyed using the player since (good experience, good quality). Recently I thought about giving Netflix a try and hadent read any of the reviews (yet). I have since upgraded the firmware and found the Amazon movie selection to be extensive and possibly expensive. I dont know how many movies everyone else has time to watch but I dont have time for more than one every now and then. Amazon isnt so bad after all in that regard. I have the player hare wired with a net cable to my router.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not happy Even though the blu-ray player is extremely good, I expected it to have netflix. I bought it in 2010, but I guess it is not a 2010 model. I am very happy with the DVD up conversion and the blu-ray disks play great( slow to load ).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GOOD ECONOMICAL BD PLAYER PRETTY COOL UNIT. VERY SLOW IN LOADING BLURAY DISC, SOMETIMES WILL JUST SIT THEIR AND THINK BEFORE PLAYBACK. OTHER THAN THAT GOOD FOR THE MONEY!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Player so far Bought in May 2010 and beyond the slow initial disc-read time, its well worth the low amount I paid compared to other players advertised. The only issue I've had so far is NO NETFLIX. Panasonic announced earlier this month that Netflix is available on all 2010 models ONLY... Get the 65 if you want Netflix now. I'm sure in the next year a firmware update will include Netflix, but for now.... that is my only disappointment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No autoresume with BR This unit supports auto resume with DVD's but NOT with BR discs, which I find strange since it's billed as a BR player. I tried the firmware update with the CD-R but it wouldn't work. Maybe that would have provided auto resume with BR's. But without that feature I can't give this unit a good rating.

FAQs
  • What do I do in the unit has no power?
If the unit is not powering on, remove the power cord plug from any power strip it may be connected to and plug directly into the wall outlet.
  • What should I do if my Blu-ray player freezes or locks-up?
If your Blu-ray player is not responding then do as follows:

    1. Unplug all cables and USB devices from the player.
    2. Unplug the power, wait about 30 seconds then reconnect.

We recommend connecting the player (wired) to your network and attempt updating its Firmware again.
  • Why is a "No Read" error message appearing on my players display?

Ensure that the surface of the disc is not dirty, scratched or smudged, or try another disc and see what happens. If the product is unable to play all discs, then it will require servicing.

If you elect to have your Blu-ray Player, DVD Recorder or Home Theater System serviced, please contact Panasonic via email before sending your unit in at panacare@us.panasonic.com. The remote control and main unit are using different codes. On the remote control, press and hold [OPTION] and the following button at the same time for more than 5 seconds depending on the indication SET 1: [G], SET 2: [B], SET 3: [Y].

    -OR-

On the remote control, press and hold [OK] and the corresponding number [1], [2] or [3] for "SET 1", "SET 2" or "SET 3" respectively.
