Rated 5 out of 5 by from SIlver! Please add a silver colour option like the G7. Plus make the design more retro? and keep using the G7 batteries; they are AWESOME

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my G85 I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received product samples as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. I first received my G85 a few months ago and I was really excited to get it out of the box to try it out. I was already shooting with the G7 so I didn't really think there would be much difference between the two cameras. I was wrong... The G85 is a significant jump forward from the G7 not only with image quality but with the camera build as well. There are a few improvements that I really love, like the new placement of the SD card slot on the side of the body rather than underneath with the battery. The internal stabilization is really great to have especially when shooting hand held. I shoot portraits professionally and I use my G85 for about 99% of my work. This camera is so easy to use and easier to carry around than all my other DSLR bodies. The days of Big is Better have long been over in the photography world. With a majority of clients using my work online or social media there is no need for a 100MP camera anymore. I get more than enough image quality with the G85 and I have never had a client as me why I wasn't shooting with a Canon or Nikon (or similar). All in all, the G85 has something for everyone, whether you shoot weddings, corporate headshots, music videos or just regular events fro time. I know I can carry my g85 with me and have everything I need no matter what the circumstance is. I fell in love with Lumix because of the G7 and the G85 has turned me into a Lumix Lifer!
