Rated 5 out of 5 by from : BL-C140A I started with one: BL-C140A over two years ago and went right to six, they are mounted up on the roof and are used for a nighborhood watch, not a single problem, and they are exposed to the elements, and are used by many neighbors connected with outdoor wireless access point..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best so far I tried this net cam out as an experiment and now I am on my fifth one, I use my own dns server cause the yearly fee is very little for a single dns ip, the net cam runs consistant and if you have a problem with an ip change, just put the cd in and it will fix everything as far as the setup goes. These cams are so popular I have one now on a two month back order which doesn't make me happen but when you find something that works like you want , you don't want to start over, so I will just wait.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BL-C140A does the job! Easy to install, very easy to configure and get running. The recording software is easy to install and use. You can view the image from ANY desktop or laptop in the house. Mine is overlooking the front door of my resident. Now with a quick look, I can see who is ringing my bell without walking downstairs to find a sales person. Daytime picture is excellent. Nighttime picture is very grainy unless you have an outside light running. You might consider the BL-C160A with its built in lights if you don’t have and outside light. I plan on adding three more to cover the rest of the house. I would recommend the BL-C140A to anyone looking for an affordable network type camera. I only gave it 3 stars for featured due to the limited night vision.
